thanks sweetie, it did end rather abruptly but that's cause i got sick of not being able to finish it. I had just read the tales of the slayer, the slayer chronicles, and it kind of made it so i could wrap it all up. I just started this, and I won't be able to finish tonight.

: But I love it so far! I like that Giles is there in this, too. I never saw all the Buffy eps, but I kind of liked Giles myself. He was sort of the mysterious, strangely fatherly counterbalance... or something. The guy at the top. Anyhow... this is great, what I've read of it! I look forward to finishing it!

Hey, I've been there before. I've had a story going for chapter after chapter and just run out of things to say. Only so much can be said in a fic and then it has to end. I think that's just part of us being human, writing them.

Cool! You addressed a couple of the things that have bugged me for a long time...like Xander's hatred for Spike (and Angel), which is a big ol' flaw in an otherwise all round nice guy. He just gets so PETTY when it comes to vamps. And Dawn. I've ALWAYS thought that Dawn should have huge potential for magic because of her being the Key, but they always harped on the normalcy of her, instead. When there was talk of spinoffs, she was one of the first characters I thought of. Anyhow, enough about me...this was awesome! I really enjoyed the story: the interaction was great, the fact that Giles isn't alone (I always felt so bad for him), it all came together nicely! And if you found it in yourself to add a sequel sometime...that wouldn't be so bad, either!

I agree with Dawn's character. I think that she could have had more subleties to her than just being a teenager, basically. For example, had the relationship between her and Xander been other than babysitter oriented and Xander liked Dawn it may have given a new outlook on her character maybe. I say this probably because I wrote a fic on Dawn/Xander and liked the outcome! :D
