Summary: Miley Stewart sees her mother and thinks she's going crazy. Miley, Lilly, Oliver, Jake, Jackson, and Robbie Ray go to Grandview, NY for spring break.

Chapter 1

Miley Stewart was in the cafeteria at her school in PE, the last class when she saw her mom wearing a pair of blue jeans and a green long sleeved t-shirt with cowboy boots. Her mom's ghost said, "Miley."

Miley said, "Hi" She held her head.

Lilly Truscott, her best friend came up to her and asked, "Miley, are you okay?"

Miley replied, "Yeah, I'm fine."

Jake asked, "Miley, do you want to see a movie after school with me, today?"

Miley said, "Yep. I've been dying to see Blades of Glory." They walked to the movie theater. Jake bought the tickets. They bought candy and soda and sat down in the theater.

After the movie, Jake asked, "Miley, what happened in PE?"

Miley replied, "I saw a ghost of my mom. I have another thing that I need to tell you." She lowers her voice, "I'm Hannah Montana. Please don't tell anyone both things."

Jake whispered, "I figured it out awhile ago."

Miley said, "I have to go home. Thanks for not telling anyone." She walked home.

Robbie said, "Hi Bud. How was school?"

Miley said, "Good, but I saw my mom's ghost."

Robbie said as they sat down to dinner, "I believe you. Your mom could see ghosts, too. I think there is someone else with the gift out there. We're leaving tomorrow for Grandview, NY at 8 o'clock with your friends."

Miley finished her dinner and went to bed.

I love Ghost Whisperer and the show Hannah Montana is cute! I like this beginning! I'm looking forward to seeing your next chapters!! Great job!

Miley, Jake wearing a pair of fake eyeglasses, Lilly, Oliver, Jackson, and her father finally had arrived in Grandview, New York after a long plane ride. Robbie Ray rented a minivan for them. They drove to the Grandview Marriot. Robbie got their rooms. Lilly and Miley were in 204, Jake and Oliver were in 206, and Robbie and Jackson were in 202. Lilly said happily, "I'm glad to be off that plane."

Jake said, "Me too, I'm not a big fan flying either. I'll be going by Jacob Ryan, so I don't get pestured by fans 24/7. Jake Ryan is my famous cousin twice removed because of family differences who I never met."

Oliver asked, "Jake and Jackson, do you want to get something to eat?"

Jake and Jackson said happily, "Sure." They lefts.

Miley said sadly, "I'm just going to talk a little walk to clear my head. I still miss my mom." She and Lilly went downstairs and walked outside.

Lilly said, "I know how you feel. My dad is always to busy working. I'm lucky to have both parents."

Miley saw her mom's ghost and said, "Hi Mom."

Her mom replied happily, "Miley, you need to be happy."

Miley said sadly, "I'll try." She gasped for breath and passed out.

Her mom yelled, "SOMEONE HELP MY DAUGHTER!"

Lilly yelled, "HELP, PLEASE!"

Melinda Gordon and her husband, Jim Clancy walked up to them. Melinda saw the ghost as Jim saw the unconcious teenage girl. The ghost said, "You can see me."

Melinda replied in whisper, "Yes. What is your name?"

Jim said, "I'm Jim Clancy and this is my wife, Melinda Gordon. What happened to your friend?" He kneelled down next to the unconcious girl and checked her for a pulse.

Lilly replied, "I'm Lilly Trusscott, and this is my best friend, Miley Stewart. She gasped for breath and passed out. It was like she saw a ghost. I don't see anything."

Jim said as , "Lilly, call 911, now. She has no pulse." Lilly called 911 on her cellphone. Jim gave Miley CPR.

The ghost responded, "I'm Victoria Anne Stewart. Is my daughter okay?"

Melinda explained, "My husband is giving her CPR. How did you die?"

Victoria explained, "I was in a car accident in Nashville, Tennessee four years ago today. A drunk driver crashed into my car when I was on my way to my daughter's concert. She's Hannah Montana. I think that she blames herself for what happened. Miley can see ghosts. I could do it."

Melinda said, "Victoria, you scared her so she fainted."

Miley coughed and whispered horsely, "Thanks, Mr. Clancy." Miley was loaded up into the ambulance to the hospital.

[Angie]

Another good chapter! I think it's sweet that Miley can see her mom...and I hope that she'll be okay...

Miley woke up a couple hours later in an uncomfrontable bed and saw her dad, boyfriend, her best friends, her brother, Melinda, and Jim standing around her bed. Miley said hoarsely, "Hi Dad, Jackson, Jake, Lilly, Oliver, Melinda, and Jim."

Robbie asked, "Bud, How are you feeling?"

Miley replied, "Okay. Thanks for saving me, Jim."

Jim said, "You're welcome."

Melinda asked, "Mr. Stewart, do you mind if my husband and I talk to your daughter privately?"

Robbie replied, "Okay. We'll get something to eat in the cafeteria." They left.

Melinda asked, "Miley, why did you faint?"

Miley explained, "You'll probably think I belong in the nuthouse. I saw my mom's ghost, and I was scared. I fainted."

Melinda laughed and said, "I don't think you are crazy. I saw your mother's ghost, too."

Miley laughed and said, "I'm glad I'm not insane. My dad told me secret about my mom that she could see ghosts. I got that from her."

Melinda explained, "I can see and talk to earthbound spirits like you can. Jim can't see them."

Miley said happily, "I'm glad that I'm not the only one. I just want to get out of the hospital; it creeps me out."

Robbie and a woman with dark brown hair and eyes wearing a doctor's uniform. Robbie said, "This is Dr. Liz Smith."

Dr. Smith handed Robbie the forms to sign and said, "Miley, you can go after your father signs the form."

Robbie asked the forms to her, "Dr. Smith, do you want to go out on a date?"

Dr. Smith replied, "Yes."

Miley got dressed and walked outside where she saw Jake looking at an old picture with writing on it that read, "Mommy Lisa, Daddy Kevin Manson, Andy, and Rebeca. She asked, "Jake, what's the matter?"

Jake explained, "I was kidnapped when I was five from my real family. A bad man named Lucas Hans took me from my parents when we were hiking forced me to use Jake Ryan instead of my real name and to do acting. Rebeca is my twin sister and Andy is me. I want to find my family. Goodbye, Miley. I'll be back soon." He left. Miley went to the hotel and fell asleep in her room.

[Angie]

Interesting! I'm glad that Miley isn't alone in her abilities - that she and Melinda can share this gift and hope that Jake finds his real family too....nice chapter!

[Island Breeze]

Miley said sadly, "I'll try." She gasped for breath and passed out.

Her mom yelled, "SOMEONE HELP MY DAUGHTER!"

Lilly yelled, "HELP, PLEASE!"

Melinda Gordon and her husband, Jim Clancy walked up to them. Melinda saw the ghost as Jim saw the unconcious teenage girl. The ghost said, "You can see me."

Great start! I love the ghost angle.

At noon the next day, Miley woke up and saw her dad. She said, "Morning Dad."

Her dad smiled, "Melinda wants you to meet you at her shop, Same As It Never Was at 1 o'clock. Take a shower and I'll call room service for a turkey sandwhich and a Diet Coke. Dress nicely."

Miley took a quick shower and put on an ivory Velvet Torch Lace Mini Frock and a pair of gold sandals. She ate her lunch. She walked to Melinda's shop. She said, "Hey Melinda."

Gary the Ghost said, "You got tell my boss that he has a hex on him."

Melinda said annoyed, "Gary, I already told you that there's no such thing. Hi Miley. Sorry about that. Gary wants me tell his boss Mr. Keeler that he has a hex on him. There's no such thing as hexes."

Miley said, "Maybe I can get rid of him for you."

Melinda said, "Okay. First ask him, how did you die."

Miley asked nervously, "Gary, how did you die?"

Gary replied, "I died from a heart attack from being over worked by my boss. He needs to stop working so hard before he kills himself. That's why I've been dropping stuff on him to stop him."

Miley said, "Come with us." They walked over Mr. Keeler's store. She said kindly, "Mr. Keeler, I'm Miley Stewart. I have this gift that allows me see earthbound spirits like Melinda. Do you know a Gary?"

Mr. Keeler explained sadly, "He died from a heart attack because I over worked him."

Gary said, "Tell him, I'm here."

Miley said, "He's here."

Mr. Keeler asked Miley, "What does he want?"

Gary said, "He's been working too hard; he's going to kill himself. That's why I've been dropping things on him."

Miley said, "He wants you to stop work so hard before you kill yourself. That is why he's been dropping things on you. He can hear you."

Mr. Keeler laughed, "I do have a bad habbit of working too hard. I'm going my family to Disney World for the rest of spring break. I'm sorry Gary."

Gary said, "I forgive you. I see the light."

Miley said, "He forgives you. Melinda, what does Gary mean?"

Melinda said, "He's ready to cross over."

Gary said, "Thanks, Miley." He disappeared into the light.

This was another great chapter! I felt happy for Gary and that Miley got to see what Melinda does and I'm just happy all around! Good job!
