Summary: Jim wakes up from his coma induced dream after seeing the light. They find out that Rick Payne was the one who really died.
Chapter 1 In the Hospital
Jim saw the light and Melinda's grandmother. He said kindly, "You must be Mel's grandmother, Mary Ann."
Mary Ann said kindly, "Melinda needs you with her not as an earthbound spirit but as her living husband. She can't lose you."
Jim smiled and said, "I can see why Mel likes you so much."
Mary Ann said kindly, "Go back; it's not your time yet."
Jim woke up in a white hospital room and asked the nurse, "Where is Melinda?"
The nurse said, "I sent her home to get some sleep. I'll go call her and get a doctor."
A few minutes later, Dr. Deborah Goldstein came in and said kindly, "Your wife is going to be here soon. How are feeling?"
Jim replied, "I'm glad to alive."
Melinda came into his room and said happily, "Jim, you're awake."
Jim said, "I remember I was in Sam's body for a few months."
Melinda asked confused, "Who's Sam?"
Jim explained, "After I died, you went out with Sam Lucas who I was possessing, four months later."
Melinda replied, "It was just a dream or a nightmare that you had while you were in a coma."
Jim smiled and said, "It was just a dream."
Melinda said kindly, "You are awake. What else did you dream?"
Jim explained, "I saw my own funeral. Tim was put on Good Lovin'. It was pretty funny."
Melinda asked, "What clothes were you wearing?"
Jim replied, "The clothes from the day that I got shot."
Melinda said, "Ghosts come to me in the clothes that they died in. You would be wearing a hospital gown."
Jim laughed and said, "I know that. The light and your grandmother got me to come back. I'm tired. You can sleep next to me for the night. Who is that woman next to you?"
Melinda replied, "She is an earthbound spirit. She gave me the warning that death might rub off on what I touched."
The Watcher said, "You missed understood me. I meant what you do might rub off on others." She vanished.
Jim said, "Let's talk about it tomorrow." Melinda climbed into the bed next to Jim for the night.

Re: A Miracle (Ghost Whisperer) TEEN
Was this a one-parter or a longer story? Either way, I like it a great deal! I love how Jim is able to come back to Melinda and be in her life! That is wonderful!!!
I'm hoping that there are other chapters to see what will happen now that he's woke from his coma, but if not, I'll be happy knowing that it ended well! Great job!!!

Chapter 2 Finding Out
The next morning, Jim awoke next to Melinda and said kindly, "Good Morning, Mel."
Melinda said kindly, "Good morning, Jim."
Delia and Ned walked into the hospital room. Delia said kindly, "Hi Jim, good to have you back. Sorry, we couldn't come yesterday because Ned was throwing up all day."
Ned said clutching his right side, "Jim, nice to have you back in the land of the living."
Jim said relieved, "I never want to get shot again."
Ned said weakly, "I don't feel good."
Melinda asked concerned, "Ned, what's wrong?"
Ned whispered, "My right lower side is hurting."
Jim replied tiredly, "It sounds like Appendicitis, Ned."
Dr. Goldstein asked, "Jim, how are you feeling?"
Jim replied taking spoonful of oatmeal, "Must better just tired. Ned isn't feeling good; he might have Appendicitis."
Dr. Goldstein said kindly after finishing checking Jim, "Ned, come with me." Ned sat down on the wheelchair that the nurse brought for him. They left the room.
Delia asked, "Do I have a ghost attached to me again?"
Melinda replied kindly, "No, you have a spider on you."
Delia grabbed a tissue from the box on the nightstand and got the spider off. She said relieved, "Thanks."
An hour later, Ned was back in the room asleep in a bed. Dr. Goldstein said kindly, "Ned is going be fine. He'll wake up soon. Tomorrow, you will both be able to leave." She left.
Ned woke up a half an hour later and said tiredly, "Hi Mom, Melinda, and Jim."
Delia asked, "Ned, are you feeling better?"
Ned replied tiredly, "I feel better."
Jim asked, "Where is Rick?"
Melinda replied, "He went to the Himalayas for an year. Oh no, I haven't heard from him since I said goodbye to him. He's the one who dead."
Rick appeared and said amazed, "About time, you figured it out."
Jim asked confused, "Am I still dream or do I see Rick?"
Melinda replied kindly, "No, you're not dreaming, Jim. You actually see Rick."
Jim asked confused, "How can I see Rick if he's dead?"
Melinda explained, "You had near-death experience when you got shot, so you can see ghosts."
Jim said surprised, "I'm just shocked."
Melinda asked, "Rick, what happened?"
Rick explained, "I was carrying too many suitcases down the stairs and fell down the stairs."
Melinda said angrily, "Rick, I told you not be an idiot. Why did you do it?"
Rick explained, "I had a crush on you, Melinda."
Melinda yelled, "I'M MARRIED TO JIM! I NEVER WANT TO SEE YOU AGAIN, RICK!" Rick disappeared.
Jim said kindly, "Mel, you will have to forgive him one day."
Melinda smiled and said, "I know. Jim, I'm pregnant."
Jim said happily, "That's great. I need to rest for awhile."
Melinda said kindly, "Delia, I'm going to get a sandwich and a tea not at the hospital. Do you want to come?"
Delia replied, "Okay." They left.
Ned said tiredly, "I'm glad to have you back. You are like a father to me, Jim."
Jim said kindly, "Ned, you need to sleep."
Ned said angrily, "No."
Jim asked concerned, "Why?"
Ned explained worriedly, "If I go to sleep here, I might not wake up for four months."
Jim said calmly, "Ned, you are going to be fine. You need to sleep. I'm here. I won't let anything happen to you, I promise."
Ned said tiredly, "Okay." He fell asleep.
A half an hour later, the nurse brought in their dinner and said kindly, "Jim and Ned, dinner."
Jim said kindly, "Thanks."
Ned said kindly, "Thanks." The nurse left.
An hour later, Melinda and Delia came back into the room. Melinda asked kindly, "Jim and Ned, are you feeling better?"
Jim said kindly, "I feel much better."
Ned said kindly, "I feel fine just a little tired."
Delia asked kindly, "Ned, do you want to stay here for the night?"
Ned smiled and said annoyed, "I'm fifteen, Mom. I don't need you to stay in the hospital with me."
Delia said kindly, "Goodnight, Melinda, Jim, and Ned." She left.
Jim said kindly, "We should all get some sleep." They fell asleep.

Re: A Miracle (Ghost Whisperer) TEEN
I'm glad that Ned was able to get help for his Appendicitis (sp?) and that Rick appeared so that Jim and Melinda could see him, even though Melinda had to set him straight on the fact that she was married.
I look forward to what's going to happen when they leave the hospital, especially since Jim now knows that Melinda is pregnant! Nice update!!!

Chapter 3 Back to Normal
The next morning, Melinda said kindly, "Jim and Ned, wake up."
Ned said, "Good morning, Melinda, Jim, and Mom."
Delia said kindly, "Ned, we should get going. Melinda, we'll bring dinner at 7 o'clock tonight." They left.
Jim said kindly, "I'm ready to go home."
An hour later, they were at their house and Jim. Melinda asked kindly, "Jim, do you want anything right now?"
Jim replied kindly, "No, Mel."
The Watcher appeared to them and said, "You were lucky this time. Jim, I gave you those dreams of what the future would be like if you didn't go into the light."
Jim asked angrily, "Why did you make me go into a four month coma to give me a nightmare?"
The Watcher explained, "You need to experience what it is like for your wife."
Melinda said angrily, "The light is where you supposed to be."
Jim asked the ghost, "What is your name?"
The Watcher replied kindly, "I'm Carole Adison. My daughter, Cindy is going to get killed if she keeps doing stupid things with her dog, a Pitbull. Her dog is dangerous to everyone."
Melinda said kindly, "We'll help you talk some sense into your daughter."
Carole said kindly, "I'm sorry about the nightmare, Jim. I want to talk to my daughter."
Melinda and Jim drove to Cindy's apartment. They saw Cindy with her dog, Lex on the steps. Lex was jumping and lunging everywhere. Melinda asked kindly, "Are you Cindy Adison?"
Cindy replied in a whisper, "Yes."
Melinda said kindly, "Your mom, Carole is here. I'm Melinda and this is my husband, Jim."
Cindy asked curiously, "How is she here?"
Melinda replied kindly, "I can spirits."
Jim said, "So can I."
Carole said kindly, "Tell her that Lex is going to kill someone or yourself if you don't train him properly."
Melinda said kindly, 'Cindy, Lex is going to kill someone or yourself if you don't train him properly."
Cindy said sadly, "I can't train him because I'm still getting over the loss of Max, a Lab/Shepard Mix, that I had since I was ten. He was the best dog in the world."
Jim said kindly, "Cindy, you got Lex to soon after the death of Max."
Cindy said kindly, "I know."
Carole explained, "Loved ones never truly leave you. Their memories live on in your heart. You need to let go of Max."
Melinda said kindly, "Loved ones never truly leave you. Their memories live on in your heart. You need to let go of Max."
Cindy said kindly, "I will, Mom. Sit, Lex." Lex sat on the step. She said happily, "Good boy, Lex. I love you, Mom."
Carole said kindly, "Tell her that I love her too."
Melinda said, "She's loves you too." They walked to their red SUV.
Carole explained kindly, "The future isn't set in stone, Melinda and Jim. You already changed it kind of like what happened to Scrooge in A Christmas Carol."
Melinda asked, "Carole, are you ready to go into the light?"
Carole laughed and said, "I don't have a choice." She went into the light.
Melinda and Jim went home. Melinda said relieved, "Carole won't cause you any more dreams about you being Sam."
Jim said kindly, "I'm glad."
Delia and Ned came in with some chicken, coleslaw, and potato salad. Delia said kindly, "Let's eat."
Jim asked, "Melinda, how far are you along?"
Melinda said happily, "About four months."
Ned said kindly, "I can always babysit for you, Melinda and Jim." They enjoyed their dinner.
The next morning, Melinda said kindly, "Jim and Ned, wake up."
Ned said, "Good morning, Melinda, Jim, and Mom."

I'm glad that Melinda and Jim were able to help Carole talk to her daughter, Cindy about her dog and that Cindy was able to accept that she got Lex too soon after losing Max. I hope that she can have a better future with Lex!
I'm also glad that Carole was able to go into the light and that Jim's nightmares of being Sam are over!
I think this was a great update!!!

Chapter 4 New Problems
Three weeks later, Jim and Melinda were both back at work. Melinda said kindly, "I'm going to go meet Jim for lunch."
Delia said kindly, "Okay, be careful."
Melinda walked to the park and said kindly, "Hi Jim."
Jim smiled and said, "Hi Mel. I brought some sandwiches and soda from the Deli."
Melinda said after taking bite of her turkey and cheese sandwich, "I'm glad that you survived the shooting. Detective Neely''s stepdaughter's death caused him to be distracted."
Jim said kindly, "I love you, Mel."
Melinda asked, "Jim, are you okay?"
Jim explained sadly, "A man about my age on a motorcycle got hit by an SUV. Bobby and I worked on him for awhile, but he died."
Melinda said kindly, "It was an accident."
Jim asked worriedly, "What if it was one of us that died?"
Melinda said calmly, "We're both in good health. Accidents happen to everyone."
Jim explained, "His name was Sam Lucas. He was the one that I took over in my nightmare if I didn't survive the shooting."
Melinda said kindly, "This time, you didn't because you are alive."
Sam appeared and said, "I need help."
Jim said kindly, "We'll help you. You are the guy who died in the accident, Sam Lucas, right?"
Sam replied, "Yes."
Melinda asked, "Do you need to talk to your family?"
Sam explained, "My parents are over controlling to my sister, Jordan and myself. I can't stand them. My parents and sister are at my apartment."
Jim said, "We'll go there." They drove to Sam's apartment. Jim knocked on the door.
Jordan answered the door and said, "I'm Jordan Lucas. Come in."
Jim said kindly, "I'm Jim Clancy, and this is my wife, Melinda Gordon. I was with your brother when he died."
Nancy said kindly, "I'm Nancy Lucas, and this is my husband, Gerald Lucas."
Melinda said kindly, "Sam is here."
Gerald said coolly, "You must be joking. He's dead."
Jim said angrily, "We can see and talk to spirits."
Jordan said, "I believe you, two."
Nancy said, "Okay."
Gerald said, "I'll listen to him."
Sam said angrily, "Tell them that they are going to lose their daughter if they don't stop controlling her."
Melinda said angrily, "He said that you are going to lose your daughter if you don't stop controlling her."
Nancy said angrily, "We're parents; we are supposed to protect our children."
Melinda yelled, "YOU ARE SUPPOSE TO PROTECT YOUR CHILDREN, BUT THAT NOT WHAT YOU ARE DOING! YOU ARE BOSSING THEM AROUND BY NOT LETTING THEM MAKE THEIR OWN DECISIONS!"
Nancy said guiltily, "I was a little hard on you, Sam and Jordan."
Gerald said sadly, "I went overboard."
Jordan said angrily, "You were unbearable."
Sam said kindly, "Tell them that they protect their daughter but not by controlling her instead with love."
Jim said kindly, "Sam said that you can protect Jordan but not by controlling her instead with love."
Nancy said kindly, "I'm sorry, Sam and Jordan for not giving you love. I'm going to change."
Gerald said kindly, "I admit it; we were out of control. I'm sorry, Sam and Jordan."
Jordan said kindly, "I forgive you, Mom and Dad."
Sam said kindly, "I forgive you."
Melinda said, "He forgives you."
Sam asked as seeing the light, "Is that for me?"
Melinda replied kindly, "Yes." Sam walked into the light. Melinda walked back to their car.
Gabriel said coldly, "You need to stop helping spirits cross over."
Melinda whispered to Jim, "Gabriel is possessed by Romano. We need to free him." They drove back to their house.
Jim said, "I'm going to get dinner ready."
Melinda looked up Gabriel Lawrence on the internet and found the information about him and his parents. She dialed Gabriel's parents' number.
The woman's voice answered the phone, "Hi, this is Emily Lawrence."
Melinda said kindly, "I'm Melinda Gordon. I have information on your son, Gabriel. He's here in Grandview."
Emily said happily, "Thank you, Melinda. I thought I never see him again. My husband, Harry will fly us out tomorrow."
Melinda said kindly, "Okay." She hung up the phone and went into the kitchen for dinner.
Jim asked, "Did you find the information on Gabriel?"
Melinda said kindly, "Yes, his parents are coming here, tomorrow." They finished dinner and went to bed.

Re: A Miracle (Ghost Whisperer) TEEN
Nice update, imo! I like how Jim and Melinda were once again able to help Jordan's and Sam's parents see their mistakes and that there was peace amongst mom, dad, and both brothers!
I liked how Sam was able to cross over and how Jim and Melinda were able to find Gabriel's mom! Looking forward to the next update and what will happen then!
I liked this very much!

Chapter 5 Freedom
Melinda and Jim were waiting Gabriel's parents and Gabriel at the coffee shop. A woman with dark brown hair and green eyes wearing a pair of blue jeans and a pink long-sleeve t-shirt with brown boots walked up to them with her husband, a man with brown hair and blue eyes, dressed in jeans and black t-shirt with tennis shoes and said kindly, "I'm Emily Lawrence, and this is my husband, Harry. You must be Melinda and Jim."
Melinda said, "We are."
Gabriel ran up to his parents and said happily as he hugged them, "Mom and Dad, I missed you so much. I remember what happened when I was 17; a man named Tom Gordon kidnapped me when he lied about you two not being my parents."
Emily said kindly, "I'm happy to have you back."
Romano said evilly appeared to Gabriel, Jim, and Melinda, "You aren't getting away from me."
Gabriel yelled angrily, "YOU WERE THE ONE WHO CAUSED ME TO GET KIDNAPPED BY TOM GORDON! LEAVE US ALONE! JUST BECAUSE YOU HAD A BAD LIFE, DOESN'T MEAN THAT YOU CAN GO AROUND CONTROLLING PEOPLE TO MAKE THEIR LIFE MISERABLE! IT'S TIME FOR YOU TO MOVE ON!"
Romano said, "You are free for now." He disappeared.
Tom Gordon appeared said sadly, "Melinda and Gabriel, I'm sorry for what I did. Melinda, I shouldn't of killed your real father. Gabriel, I shouldn't of kidnapped you."
Gabriel said coolly, "I'm still mad at you, but I forgive you."
Melinda said, "I forgive you." Tom went into the light.
Harry said, "Gabe and Em, let's go home." They left.
Jim said kindly, "I have to meet Ned at the basketball court. I'll drop you off at the store." They left.
In a grey SUV an hour later, a girl about 15 with blond hair and green eyes wearing a green sweeter and a pair of black jeans with a pair of black boots with my mother, Bella, and her little sister, Michele. She said annoyed, "I'm so sick of moving."
Michele said happily, "It is nice here, Stephenie."
A ghost of young boy around 12 with black hair and blue eyes wearing a bloody white shirt and torn jeans and said, "Help me."
Stephenie replied in a whisper, "Later." He vanished.
Bella said annoyed, "Stephenie, I wish you would stop talking to imaginary friends. Let's go into the antique shop." They went inside the shop.
A woman with dark brown hair wearing a pair of white pants and a black shirt with black boots walked up to them and said kindly, "I'm Melinda Gordon. I've never seen you three here before."
Bella said kindly, "I'm Bella Samson, and these are my two daughters, Stephenie who is 15 and Michele who is 10. We just moved here."
An woman with blond hair came up to Melinda wearing a pair of blue jeans and loose yellow blouse with a pair of brown boots and said, "Melinda, I have a date with Tim, tonight."
Jim came in and said kindly, "Hi Mel. Who are them?"
Melinda said kindly, "These are Bella Samson and her two daughters, Stephenie and Michele. Bella, Stephenie, and Michele, these are my husband, Jim Clancy and my best friend, Delia. They just moved here. Stephenie is the same age is Ned. You can bring him here tomorrow, Delia."
Stephenie said shyly, "Okay."
Delia said kindly, "Ned has bad luck with girls. I'll see you, tomorrow." She left.
Melinda said, "I'll be over there if you need anything."
Jim said kindly, "I'll be fixing that light that keeps on going out over there."
Stephenie felt cold air that a ghost was nearby and whispered, "Not now."
The ghost of the boy asked, "Will you help me, now?"
Stephenie whispered, "Yes, I'll try. My name is Stephenie. What's your name?" Melinda and Jim also looked towards the ghost and Stephenie
The ghost of the boy replied, "Danny. Stephenie, you're very lucky that you get to live in different places with your family."
Stephenie whispered annoyed, "Yeah right."
Melinda said quietly, "Danny, she is very lucky." Danny nodded and disappeared.
Stephenie asked quietly, "You two can see ghosts, too?"
Melinda replied quietly, "Yes, we can see earthbound spirits."
Stephenie asked in a whisper, "How long?"
Jim replied in a whisper, "Only for a month because of a Near-death experience."
Melinda replied quietly, "Since I was little, I got the gift from my mom's side of my family. You, Steph?"
Stephenie said quietly, "The same but from my dad. My dad was the only one who could see ghosts in my family because of a bad accident as a child when he was twelve. He died when I was eight. His name was Kevin. My dad was the only person that called me Steph."
Melinda whispered, "I seen your dad before. Can you come by tomorrow?"
Stephenie said kindly, "I'll came by tomorrow. My new apartment isn't too far from here to walk."
Bella said, "I'll drop her off tomorrow at 9 o'clock in the morning." They left.

Re: A Miracle (Ghost Whisperer) TEEN
So Stephanie can see spirits too. I hope she's able to help Danny and that she can say goodbye to her dad soon!
Nice update!
