This is my second auction, but my first participating as an author. I've been writing fanfic for Doctor Who for a little over a year now. I don't see my name on the list of DW auctions yet, though I sent in my application a week ago. I hope that means that so many authors have signed up that the board maintainers are having trouble dealing with the incoming flood.
