I think you are doing a fabulous job. I am really enjoying the characterizations, the nw Parker siblings bonding, Michael opening up more, the idea of Nicholas using Ava to hurt the others (poor girl), so glad it was not really Maria that wanted to break up with Michael. I got the impression from reading it that Michael was happy with being with Maria, but this being close to Xander and the Parkers was giving him the oppotunity to have more of an experience with having a real family. I don't think it took away from his relationship with Maria at all.

Anyway, I very much enjoyed this and look forward to reading more.

Great line! And I loved Michael's reaction to it! He he!

Man, Nicholas is just a creep. The hypo gave me a shudder!

The smile is wiped off Nicolas’ face and he snarls, “No, but Khivar knows who the spies are in his own camp and he makes sure they have access to the pertinent information.” Pulling a syringe out of his pocket, he yanks the girl’s arm up and jabs the needle in, ignoring her cry and depressing the plunger quickly. “Go to sleep now Ava, I won’t need you any more tonight.”

Maria had a time getting used to aliens! Now vampires! Poor girl! Great story!
