Chapter 1

It was October 2nd. Lois Lane woke up in the morning after a long night telling Richard the truth that she still loved Superman and Jason was his son. She took a quick shower and got dressed. She walked into the kitchen to her son already dressed. Lois poured him a glass of fresh squeezed orange juice and a bowl of Nature's Path - Mesa Sunrise Cereal with soy milk for both of them.

Jason said, "I'm sorry for what I did."

Lois said calmly, "Jason, you saved my life just like your real father, Superman. You're a hero."

Richard walked up to them and explained, "I'm going to be staying here in the study. I love you, Jason." He left.

Jason finished his cereal and ran into the living room. He started to wheeze. His lips turned blue and his skin was so pale. Lois ran into the living room and noticed a piece of Kryptonite was lodged in the window outside. She picked him up placed him on the dock to get some sun. She removed the Kryptonite and buried it far enough away from Jason. Lois asked, "Jason, are you okay?"

Jason smiled and replied, "I'm fine, Mommy. I want to go to school. I promise to stay away from the green rock."

She drove him to school and drove herself to the Daily Planet. She was working on her article about the abundance of Kryptonite left over from New Krypton and couldn't think what to write.

Clark Kent walked up to her and asked, "Lois, are you alright?"

Lois replied, "I can't think what to write about Kryptonite. Jason had an asthma attack this morning."

Clark said handing her a bean burrito and a cup of orange juice, "I'll help you but first eat some lunch."

Lois took a bite of her burrito and said, "Thanks, Clark." She noticed that Clark didn't look so good. She asked, "Clark, are you feeling okay?"

Clark replied, "I just have a headache and bad backache from where I fell." It was true that he had a bad headache from all the Kryptonite that must have fallen to Earth after he lifted New Krypton into outer space.

After they finished lunch, they worked on the article and finished it. Lois picked up Jason from school and drove back to the Planet. He sprinted over to Clark's desk and said, "Hi Mr. Clark."

Clark smiled and said, "Hey Jason. I'll help you with your homework. Don't worry, Lois, it's nothing contagious."

Jason saw through Perry's office; he has been seeing through everything lately.

Clark said, "Jason."

Jason blinked and said, "Okay." He did his homework. Lois and Jason stopped at a Chinese restaurant for dinner. They drove home. He sprinted inside and into his room. He changed into his pajamas and brushed his teeth. He jumped on his bed.

Lois yelled, "NO JUMPING ON THE BED; YOU'LL BREAK IT!"

Jason climbed into his bed and said, "Goodnight, Mommy."

Lois said, "Goodnight, Jason. You have school, tomorrow." He fell asleep while Lois went into her own room and fell asleep.

The next morning, Lois walked into her son's room and yelled, "JASON, WAKE UP, IT'S 8 O'CLOCK IN THE MORNING!"

Jason yawned and said, "Let me sleep!"

Lois felt his forehead and said, "You have a fever. You coming with me to work, today." She noticed another green rock on the roof. She thought, 'Where is all this Kryptonite coming from? I understand why Superman hates it so much.'

Jason protested, "We're going to do painting at school."

Lois said, "No buts, Jason. You're burning up. I'll stay home with you, today. We can watch videos all day."

Jason loved watching videos, and his mommy was right that he was sick. He said, "Okay, I'll stay home."

Lois said, "Let's get something for breakfast." She picked up her son and carried him into the kitchen. She made five pieces of toast for breakfast.

Richard walked inside with Clark and said, "Hey Lois and Jason. I hope you don't mind Clark resting here for a couple hours. He looks like death ran over."

Lois said, "He's welcome to rest here."

Jason said, "Mr. Clark, you're Superman because you're effected by that Kryptonite outside my bedroom. I also saw through your shirt yesterday."

Clark replied, "Yes, I am. Please don't tell anyone. Will someone please get rid of the Kryptonite?"

Richard said, "I'll get rid of it. You can take Jason out for the day while we look for around for anymore of it. Make sure he's back by 6 o'clock."

Clark said, "Jason, come with me." They walked to a nearby park. He asked, "What do you want to do?"

Jason whispered, "Flying, Daddy."

Clark ducked behind a tree and became Superman. He picked Jason up and flew to the sun. He ordered, "Jason, look at the sun."

Jason looked at the sun and felt much better. He said happily, "I feel much better now that I'm away from that evil green rock. You look better too."

They landed behind a tree. Superman changed back to Clark when he made sure no one was looking. Jason ran faster than speeding bullet to the swings. Clark noticed Jason had ran faster than any normal human being can run which he hoped no one had seen that. He ran to his son and brought him to a deserted park bench. He asked, "Jason, do you know what happened?"

Jason nodded and said, "I'm sorry. I ran too fast."

Clark explained, "Jason, you just developed super-speed. You didn't do anything wrong. You can't use your powers in public. You have keep it a secret. You also keep my identity a secret."

Jason said, "I can keep a secret. I'm starved. Let's go to Burger King. I want Double Cheeseburger with orange juice and applesauce." They walked at a normal speed to Burger King. Clark ordered Jason's kid's meal and himself a Double Cheeseburger with French fries and a Diet Coke.

Clark asked, "Jason, what is your favorite things to do?"

Jason replied, "I like paint, color, play with cars and planes, have stuffed animals, action figures, read short books, and I like being with my family. You?"

Clark said, "I like playing with my dog, reading, and flying. What is your favorite class at school?"

Jason answered, "Science and Art. Can we go to Toy's R Us, please?"

Clark said, "Okay." They walked to the toy store. Jason picked out a plane, a bear, and a police car. He asked, "Why don't we go to the Science Museum?"

Jason said, "Okay." They walked to the science museum. They spent the rest of the afternoon. He whispered as they walked back to the park, "Can we fly a little more, please?"

Clark changed into Superman and asked, "Jason, would like to see how it feels to fly on your own?"

Jason said, "Yep." He grabbed his father's hand, and they flew into the sunset. Clark accidentally loosened his grip on the boy's hand and realized that Jason was almost flying on his own. They landed behind the tree. Superman changed back to Clark. They walked back to the Riverside house and sat down at the dining room table eating spaghetti and meatballs.

Clark said, "We had the best time. We went flying then to Toy's R Us. We had lunch at Burger King. We spent the afternoon at the Science Museum. We flew again just time Jason almost flew by himself."

Jason smiled, "It was the best day ever." Clark left after Jason was asleep.

Luthor's Hide Out in Colorado near the Rocky Mountains in an abandoned cabin:

Lex yelled, "KITTY USE YOUR BRAIN ONCE IN AWHILE! THE BOY IS SUPERMAN'S SON!"

Kitty looked at the monitor and said, "Clark Kent is effected by the Kryptonite, so he's Superman." She thought, 'Oh great, now he going to kill innocent people and Clark.'

Lex smiled and said, "Very good, Kitty. Tonight, we'll kidnap his son, Richard, and Lois. The goons are bringing Mrs. Kent here, now." They saw Martha Kent with her dog, Shelby being lead into a cold room with brick walls.

At the Lane/White Residence, Lex and his henchman carried Jason, Richard, and Lois onto his chopper flew them to the moutian cabin. Lois and Jason were put in the same room with Martha while Richard was put in the room next to the other room.

The next morning at 11 o'clock, Jason woke up in a strange room that has Kryptonite in every conner with his mother, a yellow lab, and Martha Kent. Jason coughed and asked, "Where are we?"

Lois explained, "Luthor kidnapped us. We're in Colorade. This is your grandmother, Martha Kent and this is her dog Shelby."

Martha asked, "How do you feel, honey?"

Jason coughed and said, "Awful. Kryptonite. I hope Clark gets here soon."

Lois said, "So do we. I'm freezing."

Jason said, "Let's hug each other." They grouped together tightlly.

Martha said, "My son will be here soon."

Jason said, "I saw Richard and Kitty sleeping wearing nothing."

Martha explained, "You shouldn't look into other people's privacy. You did that with Clark."

Jason nodded and said, "I won't do it again."

Kitty opened the door holding a little dog, a bag of crackers, and a bowl of dog food. She said, "Hello Lois, Jason, and Martha, I brought you some Goldfish Crackers."

Lois smiled and said, "Thank you, Kitty. You are way too nice to be hanging around Lex. How did you met Lex?"

Kitty explained, "I needed a job badly. I ran into Luthor, and he asked me to be his girlfriend. I thought I loved him, but I was wrong. He turned out to be so mean. He wants to kill Superman/Clark. Clark never did anything to hurt anyone. He is nice guy. I really like Richard; he's so nice nothing like Luthor. I better get to Luthor." She left locking the door.

Jason saw Superman through the wall and said, "He's going to be here in a minute."

Superman broke the door of the hinges and yelled, "YOU TOOK MY FAMILY."

Lex said, "Clark Kent, you will die." He lead him to a room filled with Kryptonite.

Clark collapsed on the floor in pain and said wheezing, "Luthor, you're not getting away this time."

Lex punched and kicked Clark. Blood was everywhere. He said, "That's enough for today." He led Clark to a white room with a bed. Lex said, "Rest."

Clark coughed and said, "Tomorrow, you're going to be defeated." He fell into a deep sleep.

Lex unlocked the door of Lois, Jason, and Martha's room and asked, "How is everyone?"

Jason wheezed, "Terrible."

Lois said, "Freezing."

Martha said, "Same here."

Lex said, "All of you are going to watch Clark die, tomorrow." He left.

Kitty came in and said kindly, "Hi Lois, Martha, and Jason."

Lois asked, "Can I see Superman?"

Kitty replied, "Come with me." They walked to his room.

Clark wheezed and said, "Hi Lois. How are you?"

Lois said, "Cold, but fine. How are you feeling?"

Clark coughed, "Crap. Is Jason and Mom alright?"

Lois said, "Martha is okay. Jason isn't doing so good, but he looks better than you. You should get some sleep, Clark. You sound like Jason when he has a cold." Kitty lead Lois back to her room.

The next afternoon, everyone was lead into a room with a liquid Kryptonite filled pool. The thug pushed him into the pool. Clark spent two hours.

Jason wheezed and said, "Stop."

The thug helped him out and took him to his room. Later that night, Kitty took them all to see Clark who was now dressed in dry clothes.

Clark sniffled and said, "Hi Lois, Jason, and Mom."

Jason took a puff of his inhaler and said, "You look awful."

Clark said coughing, "I feel terrible. You don't look so good, yourself, Jason."

Jason said, "I'm a little queasy and having an asthma attack from the green rock." He took a couple puffs from his inhaler.

Lois said, "I hate being trapped here."

Martha said, "Rest, Clark." They went to their own room and fell asleep.

I like how you include Martha in this one! Very sweet and cooL!

The next day, Clark was led into the same room. Lex pushed him into the pool again and said, "This time, you are going to stay in there for another two hours."

Clark said, "ACHOO!" Lex was blown out of the room. He struggled to climb out and Kitty lead him to his room. He fell asleep until he heard Kitty unlocking the door. He coughed and said, "Hi Kitty."

Kitty handing him his glasses and said, "I'm freeing you. Come with me. I spiked Luthor's and his thugs' drinks; they'll be out until morning." They walked to the other room. She said, "The key is broken."

Jason yelled, "STAND BACK, I'LL PUSH THE DOOR DOWN!" He ran into the door and it fell off it's hinges.

Kitty said, "I'm freeing you. I spiked Luthor's and his henchmen's drinks. They're out cold." She led them to Richard's room. Jason broke down the door. She than lead them to the door.

Lois asked, "Are you coming with us?"

Kitty replied, "No."

Lois, Richard, Martha, Jason, and Clark with Shelby walked outside. Lois asked, "Clark, how are you feeling?"

Clark replied, "Awful, I think ACHOO! that I caught a cold from being around so much Kryptonite. ACHOO! It drains me of my powers." He never remembered his throat starchy or his nose being stuffy before.

Lois handed him a pack of tissues that were in her pocket and said, "Take them. Would you kill yourself to cover your mouth when you sneeze?"

Clark sniffled and said, "Sorry. I don't think I can walk by myself."

Jason smiled and said, "I'll help you. Daddy, you can lean on me. I wish I could fly then I could get help."

Clark leaned on Jason's shoulder, and they walked up the hill. Lois's feet were killing her; high-healed shoes weren't meant for hiking. Richard, Martha, and Jason were the ones fit for hiking up the mountains. Lois said annoyed, "Clark is sick. I'm not wearing shoes for hiking."

Clark blew his nose and said, "Thanks for reminding me, Lois. ACHOO!"

Lois asked, "Have you ever been sick before?"

Clark said, "No unless I'm around Kryptonite."

Richard tripped over a root and fell down. His leg was trapped in a hole. He asked, "Jason, can you help me out, please?"

Jason lifted the root with ease and pulled Richard out. He asked, "Richard, are you okay?"

Richard said, "I hurt my right ankle." He limped unsteadily.

Clark asked after coughing, "Jason, can you x-ray Richard's ankle to see if it is broken?"

Jason x-rayed Richard's ankle and said, "I think it is just a bad sprain." Jason broke a tree branch off the tree and handed it to Richard. "Richard, you use that is a cane. You can also use me for support."

Martha said, "Jason and I are the only ones fit for hiking."

Lois chuckled as she watch Clark and Richard use Jason for support. It was funny seeing Superman relay on help from a five year-old boy. They turned a different way then the three boys did.

Jason said, "Mommy and Granny are missing."

Clark sniffled and asked, "Can you see Luthor's cabin from here?"

Jason said, "I can see it. Bad men and Kitty are coming after us."

Clark sneezed covering his mouth and said, "I hate being sick." They walked for another hour to another abandon cabin. He sniffled and asked, "Jason, do you see Luthor?"

Jason yawned and said, "Not really. I'm cold, so are you."

Clark said as they went inside the cabin, "We need to get warmed up. Do you have heat vision?"

Jason yawned and said, "Not yet."

Richard said, "I don't have a lighter. Can you see any matches around here?"

Jason replied, "No matches."

Clark coughed and said, "We have to find some wood and build a fire."

Jason pulled a container of gasoline and said, "Gasoline."

Clark yelled as Jason poured it, "No!" Clark and Richard got out before house caught fire. Richard and Clark saw Kitty, Lex, and his henchman. He said, "ACHOO! Stupid cold." The fire was out.

Kitty pointed the gun at Lex and shot him in the chest. She then shot the henchmen. Kitty asked, "Where is the rest of your group?"

Clark coughed and said, "My only son is underneath the mess."

Jason pushed through the wood and said, "Daddy, I have a problem. I heard gun shots" He was invulnerable, but his clothes weren't. He was standing there naked shivering.

Kitty took off her jacket and put it on Jason. She said, "He needs it more then me now."

Clark sneezed and said, "Kitty saved everyone by killing Luthor and his thugs. We need to find help."

Richard remembered that he had his cellphone with him and said, "I forgot that I had my cellphone with me. I'll call 911." He got out his cellphone, but there was no service. He said, "No service. It's back to walking."

Jason said, "I see a small town." They walked to the town and went into the sheriff's station with Shelby and Powderpuff following.

Sheriff Dean Conner asked, "What is the problem?"

Clark coughed and explained, "We were all kidnapped by Lex Luthor. Kitty was his girlfriend. She shot Luthor and his men to save Superman and everyone else's lives. The bodies of them are by the mess from the fire. Lois Lane and my mother, Martha are still out there. We're all from Metropolis, New York expect Martha; she's from Smallville. Lois, Jason, and I are going with her to Smallville. Richard is going back to Metropolis. We could use some dry clothes and clean clothes."

Sheriff Conner radioed the chopper and said, "The chopper is going to find them.

Kitty said, "I killed people."

Sheriff Conner said, "You're under arrest, Kitty Kolwaski."

Richard said, "She can stay with us. I could use some medical attention and I sprained my ankle earlier." The paramedics took Richard to the hospital.

Sheriff Conner gave them each a clean outfit. Kitty got a pair of black jeans and a green sweater which she changed into in the women's restroom. Jason changed into a pair of boxers, blue jeans, a dark blue sweater, socks and pair of Ninja Turtle sneakers. Clark changed into a pair of khaki slacks and blue sweater. Richard came back from the hospital walking with crutches and his ankle in a splint a couple hours later and changed into black pants and a gray sweater.

Clark sneezed covering his mouth with a tissue and said, "I cawght a howwible cold."

They went to a Motel 6 and got two rooms. They showered and put on the same clothes. Richard walked to a small deli and ordered two hot dogs, a chicken noodle soup, water, and a salad for Kitty. He walked back to the motel. They had dinner and fell asleep.

The next morning, they grabbed a piece of toast and orange juice on the way to the sheriff's station. Lois and Martha ran up to them. Lois said happily, "Hey Clark, Richard, and Jason. Is everyone okay?"

Richard said, "I have a sprained ankle, but other then that I'm fine. Jason is great."

Clark sneezed into the tissue and said, "I still have a cold."

Richard said, "Kitty's and my plane ride back to Metropolis is here. Bye." They left.

Martha, Clark, Lois, and Jason got on a jet to Smallville. Martha called Ben from a pay phone to pick them up. Ben got them in his truck and drove them to the farm. Ben said, "I'll see you all later."

Lois said, "Be careful around the animals, Jason; you might still be allergic to them."

"Mommy, my allergies are gone. I was with Shelby and Powderpuff the whole time. The forest was filled with plants and flowers. I didn't even get a runny nose," he said proudly just as Clark sneezed. "What are you allergic too?"

Clark grabbing a tissue and said, "Only Kryptonite, it just the cold."

They went inside. Martha made them all chicken noodle soup for lunch. She said, "I think everyone needs some warm soup right now."

Lois taking a spoonful of her soup and said, "Great soup, Martha."

Jason asked after finishing his soup and milk, "Can I go outside to play?"

Martha said, "Go ahead."

Jason sprinted out of the room and into the cornfield. He jumping high in the air.

Lois asked, "Are you sure there is no Kryptonite around for Jason to get sick from?"

Martha laughed and said, "I keep my farm clean of Kryptonite, so when Clark comes to visit me; he doesn't get sick."

Shelby was chowing down on his dog food. Lois said, "Shelby was hungry after being trapped with us in Luthor's cabin."

Martha said, "Clark, you should take nap on couch for a couple hours."

Clark sniffled and said just as Lois yawned, "Okay. Lois, you should get some sleep."

Martha said, "I think we should all get some sleep. Jason was the only one here who got some sleep last night."

Clark lay down on the couch while Lois and Martha went upstairs. Lois went into the guest bedroom and Martha went into her room. Martha woke up a couple hours later to check on Clark who was still sound asleep.

Lois walked quietly downstairs after waking up from a long nap and whispered, "Hi Martha, have a good nap?"

Martha whispered, "Yes, you look better now. Let's take it into the kitchen, so we don't wake up Clark. It's not often that he gets to sleep soundly without being interrupted by emergencies. Jason will probably be like that when he's older." They went into the kitchen.

Jason ran inside at super-speed and said, "Hi Mommy and Grandma."

Lois said annoyed, "Jason, no super-speed inside. We have to be quiet; Clark is asleep."

Jason said, "Sorry."

Clark walked into the kitchen and coughed. He said, "Hi Lois."

Jason asked, "Did I wake you?"

Clark sneezed into a tissue and answered, "No. Lois, I need to show you something in the barn." They walked into the barn. He knelled down and said, "I love you, Lois. I want to be together with you forever. Will you marry me?"

Lois yelled, "YES!" He slipped the ring on her finger. They walked back inside for dinner. Martha dished out spaghetti and meatballs with glasses of water.

Jason said happily, "I love spaghetti and meatballs."

Clark started a coughing fit and said, "Stupid cold."

Jason said, "When I'm sick, my Mommy always put me in a warm shower; it's makes me feel better."

Clark said, "ACHOO! Good idea, Jason." He walked upstairs and his room where he grabbed some pajamas. He went into the bathroom and got undressed. He turned on the water to a warm temperature and got in. The warm water did feel good to him. He could breathe better. He got dressed and walked downstairs.

Jason asked, "Do you feel better?"

Clark sneezed and replied, "I can breathe better." He coughed.

Jason said, "Mommy makes honey lemon tea for me when I have a bad sore throat."

Lois handed a cup of tea to everyone and said, "Clark, this should help."

Clark took a sip of the warm liquid and said, "Lois, this is good."

Jason coughed and said, "You'll be better in no time."

Martha said strictly, "Clark, you should be in bed, now." Clark walked upstairs muttering a few complaints.

Lois said strictly, "Jason, bed now." Jason went upstairs to Clark's room with the usual whining from a five-year old.

Martha said, "Clark was like that when he was five. It took Jonathan and me three hours to get him into bed."

Lois said happily, "I'm going to marry Clark. I love him. Is it okay if I called you Mom?"

Martha smiled and said, "Lois, welcome to the family. You should also go to bed."

They both walked upstairs; Martha went into her room. Lois saw that Jason was sound asleep. She climbed into bed next to Clark and fell asleep cuddling next to Clark for few hours. Clark shivered and said, "It's freezing."

Lois said tiredly, "Go get some warm pajamas on. I'll get another blanket." She put on her flannel nightgown and grabbed a blanket from the closet and put it on the bed. She fell asleep.

Lois walked downstairs into the kitchen to find Martha already cooking breakfast. She said happily, "Good morning, Mom. Cooking already?"

Martha said, "Yes. Would you like some coffee?"

Lois replied, "Sure."

Martha poured Lois a cup of coffee and said happily, "I'm glad Clark is marrying you. He loves you."

Lois smiled and said, "I love him, too."

Martha asked, "Why don't you make some eggs?"

Lois said, "I can't cook."

Martha said, "You can make a fruit salad then."

Lois smiled and said, "I can make a fruit salad." She made the fruit salad.

Martha said, "Lois, why don't go wake up your son and Clark? Tell them breakfast is ready."

Lois walked into Clark's old room and saw that Jason wasn't in the bed. She said, "Jason isn't in Clark's old bedroom."

Martha said, "Check the bedroom that you shared with Clark."

Lois walked into the bedroom that she and Clark's shared last night. She said kindly, "Clark and Jason, time to get up."

Clark sniffled and said, "Lois, I'm already up. I been up since you got up since 6 o'clock."

Jason yawned and said, "Morning, Mommy and Daddy."

Lois asked, "Clark, how are you feeling?"

Clark coughed and said, "A little better, but I'm not hungry." They went downstairs. Jason and Lois grabbed a cinnamon bun while Martha put a scrambled egg on their plates.

Lois said convincingly, "Clark, please you got to eat something."

Clark helped himself to a scrambled egg. They finished breakfast. He went to lay down for some more while Jason and Ben did the chores. After the chores, they played Clue. Clark said, "Goodbye, I have to stay here and get over this cold before I resume my work as Superman."

Lois and Jason got in Richard's seaplane and flew to the riverside house where Richard made hamburgers. They fell asleep.

I like the direction this story is going... Especially with Clark getting with Lois! Yay! Great chapters!

Almost two months later in the morning, Lois rushed to the bathroom and threw up in the toilet. Richard asked, "Lois, are you okay?"

Lois said, "This is the third morning I've thrown up. I'm fine. Clark is coming back, today."

Kitty dished out a pancakes, scrambled eggs, and bacon with orange juice as Clark walked in. Kitty said, "Hey Clark."

Clark said kindly, "Hello Lois, Kitty, Richard, and Jason. Great food, Kitty. Aren't you supposed to be in jail?"

Kitty explained, "Richard told the police what I did. I'm going to get an award tomorrow. I got a job as a salesclerk for JC Penney. I got an apartment right across the street from work."

Clark said happily, "Lois and I are getting married."

Richard said, "Kitty, I don't think us are working out, together. We both like different things. You are more interested in fashion. I don't care about fashion. I prefer planes and journalism."

Kitty said, "I agree. We're too different. Bye." She left.

Richard said, "The neighbors' are moving to Florida. I bought the house for you as an early wedding present. It has 6 bedrooms and an attic playroom, and 4 bathrooms. It's right next door."

Lois ran into the bathroom and threw up again. Lois said, "Clark, Jason's school is having an open house after school." She drove Jason to his school and stopped at a Rite Aid and grabbed a pregnancy test. She drove to her new house where Clark and Richard putting in furniture. She went into the bathroom and took the test. She waited for a half an hour and saw the word Pregnant on the test.

Clark asked, "Lois, are you okay?"

Lois said happily, "I'm pregnant."

Clark kissed Lois on the lips and said, "That's great." They finished setting up the new house. They drove to Jason's school. They saw Jason talking to a seven year old girl with red hair and green eyes.

Jason said kindly, "Kristy, next time, you are hurt and scared, call for Superman. He'll help you."

Kristy said, "Superman probably doesn't like kids."

Jason explained, "He loves kids. He rescued me a couple times. If you call him, he'll help you."

Kristy said, "I will."

Clark and Lois walked to Mrs. Graceson's classroom. Mrs. Graceson said, "Hello, Ms. Lane."

Lois explained, "This is Jason's real father, Clark Kent. Clark, this is Jason's teacher, Mrs. Graceson."

Mrs. Graceson explained, "Jason is a very bright boy. He does better in math and science than most other children. He's not that good in Gym. He's loves music and art. He's getting A's in all the subjects but gym, he got a B."

Clark explained, "I wonder if it is okay for him to go part-time at school. He'll be working on his work at home."

Mrs. Graceson said, "I don't see why not. He's way ahead of the other kids in this class."

Lois and Jason drove home while Clark did Superman stuff. Superman heard a girl scream. Kristy yelled, "Superman, help!"

Superman flew to the apartment were Kristy was jumping off her balcony. He caught her and asked, "What's your name?"

Kristy said shyly, "Kristina Marson, but everyone calls me Kristy."

Superman asked, "Kristy, why did you jump off the balcony?"

Kristy explained, "Mom hits me. I had to get out. Jason told me you would help me. She keeps a dog tied in the garage. You get to help the dog."

Superman said, "When we get to the hospital, I'll tell them call the ASPCA." They arrived at the hospital. He said, "This is Kristina Marson, she was abused by her mother. She says her mother is keeping a dog tied up in the garage."

The receptionist said as a blond woman came in wearing a navy suit, "I'll call the ASPCA. This is Amanda Micheal, Kristina's social worker."

Amanda explained, "This is 10th time, she was in here. Kristy needs a family who will love her and care for her."

Superman said, "Clark Kent and Lois Lane would make good parents. Their son, Jason is already good friends with her. I'll go get her and Clark." He flew off. A couple minutes later, Lois and Clark came in.

Lois smiled and said, "Hi Amanda, I'm Lois Lane and this is my fiance, Clark Kent. We want to adopt Kristina Marson."

Amanda asked, "What is your family like?"

Lois explained, "I have an younger sister, Lucy Lane and a cousin, Chloe Sullivan. My mother was Ella Lane and my dad is General Sam Lane. They were very loving and caring but a little strict at times. Clark and I discipline Jason by telling him to go to his room with no TV and no desert for a week. I'm also excepting another child."

Amanda said, "You sound like good parents. Do you have enough room for three children?"

Clark explained, "We have six bedrooms and a large yard. We're going to get a swing set with a slide and monkey bars for the backyard."

Amanda said handing them the form, "Please fill that out."

Lois filled out the form, and they signed it. She handed it back to her. They walked to Kristy's room. She said, "Hi Kristy, I'm Lois Lane and this is my fiance, Clark Kent. You're going to be living with us, tomorrow."

Kristy said, "I want Superman."

Clark taking off his glasses and said, "I'm right here. Clark is my real name. Please don't tell anyone." He put his glasses back on.

Kristy smiled and said, "I won't ever tell. That's great. I'm going be Jason's big sister. Goodnight."

Clark and Lois drove home and fell asleep.

The next morning, Clark and Jason set up Kristy's room while Lois was at the doctor. They drove to hospital and saw Kristy waiting for them in the waiting room. Lois asked, "Kristy, are you ready to go?"

Kristy said, "Yes." They drove home.

Clark asked, "Jason, do you want go flying with me?"

Jason replied, "Yes, Daddy." They went outside and Clark changed into Superman.

They flew fast into the sun. Clark asked, "Jason, are you enjoying our flight?"

Jason said happily, "Yes. When can I try to fly by myself?" Jason was lightly holding on to his dad's hand.

Clark chuckled and said, "In Smallville, tomorrow. The town throws a huge Halloween carnival. Richard is flying us there." They landed and went back inside.

Jason taking a bite of his hot dog and said, "Flying is so much fun. Kristy, Daddy can take you on flight sometime. You'll love it."

Kristy cried.

Jason asked, "Did I do something wrong?"

Lois explained, "The police shot her birth mother. You need to be delicate with her because of her rough past."

Clark asked, "Kristy, do you miss your mother?"

Kristy said, "No, she's alway mean to me. She hit me every day. I was feed stale toast."

Clark asked, "Do you miss your father?"

Kristy explained, "I loved my dad. My dad got shot in the war two years ago when I was Jason's age. My dad, Chuck passed away. He used to take to get ice cream every weekend and to the zoo. He gave my this smiling star necklace that I always wear."

Clark said calmly, "Kristy, we all know what is like to lose someone. I lost my birth parents when Krypton was destroyed. I lost my dad when I was 18. I still have stuff that reminds of my dad in Smallville."

Kristy said shyly, "I don't fit in. What should I call you?"

Lois said, "You can call me Mom and Clark Dad."

Kristy smiled and said, "Mom, we need to get our Halloween costumes."

Lois said, "Let's go shopping." They drove to the Costume Express.

Clark said, "You two can pick out any costume you want."

Jason picked out a Harry Potter costume and fake thick rimmed glasses, and a lighting bolt scar tattoo. Kristy got a Kim Possible Agent Costume. Lois picked out a Snow White costume. She asked, "Clark, aren't you going to pick out a costume?"

Clark said, "Yes, but I'm not much of a costume person since you know why." He picked out a Prince Charming costume. They went to an ice cream parlor. Jason and Clark got a chocolate ice cream cone while Kristy got a strawberry ice cream cone. Lois got a vanilla and chocolate ice cream cone with M&M's, strawberries, chocolate syrup, and caramel syrup. They went home and fell asleep.

The next morning, they got on Richard's sea plane. Richard asked, "Clark, have you ever flown a plane before?"

Clark laughed and said, "Not from the inside."

Richard said, "This is your first lesson." Clark and Richard flew the plane to Smallville. Richard landed the plane in the river there. They walked to the farm house.

Martha said, "Hi Clark, Jason, Lois, and Richard. That must be Kristy. I'm your grandmother."

Kristy coughed and said, "Hi Grandma."

Lois asked worriedly, "Kristy, are you feeling okay?"

Kristy said, "I just need to lay down for a few minutes." She lay down on the couch while Lois turned on the TV to the Cartoon Network.

Lois felt her forehead and said, "Honey, you're burning up. Mom, can you go get the thermometer?"

Martha went into the bathroom and grabbed the thermometer. She said, "Lois, I got it." She handed it to Lois.

Lois put it in Kristy's mouth said gently, "Kristy, keep it under your tongue until it beeps." It beeped. She looked at it and said concerned, "You have a 104.2 degree fever. No Halloween Party for you. Mom, watch Kristy for me while Clark, Jason, and I run to the drugstore to get some medicine." Clark, Lois, and Jason drove to drugstore. They bought some Children's Advil and drove home.

Clark poured the medicine in the cup and said, "Kristy, drink this. It will make you feel better."

Kristy drank the medicine and said, "Yucky."

Jason suggested, "We don't we have a Halloween party here. We have music."

Lois smiled and said, "That's a great idea. Clark, you need to teach him how to control his powers."

Clark and Jason went outside. Clark held a big brown box and asked, "Jason, can you see what inside it?"

Jason said annoyed, "Yes, I'm never surprised anymore."

He explained, "Jason, just focus on the outside not on the inside of things."

Jason did what his father told him and said happily, "I can see the outside of the box. I'll do this from now on."

Clark said, "Jason, you can open the box."

Jason tore open the box and saw a Hot Glove Reel Soccer Training Aid, an ESPN Super Sounds Soccer, a soccer ball, a candle, a stop watch, a yo yo, a Grow to Pro Basketball hoop, a Little Tikes Auto Pitch Batting Trainer, a jump rope, a set of juggling balls, and a Par 3 Mini Golf Course. He asked, "What is this for?" He sped off.

Clark said, "Jason, you running at the speed of light, take deep breath and slow down to a nice slow jog."

Jason took a deep breath and slowed down to a jog. He said laughing, "I'm glad that I won't run faster than my friends, now."

Clark said as holding up the candle, "The time of your jog was a minute. I want you try to light the candle on fire on the wick."

Jason focused on the candle and the candle lit on fire. He exclaimed, "I did it!"

Clark said, "Take a small breath and blow the candle, but not too big because you will blow everything else."

Jason blew the candle out and asked, "What is the rest of the stuff for?"

Clark replied, "Son, the rest are for controlling your strength. The jump rope and the juggling balls for your coordination."

Jason picked up the jump rope and jumped a couple times before getting caught. He picked up the juggling balls and tossed one ball to each hand for a couple times.

Clark and Jason went inside and saw Lois crying. Clark asked, "Lois, what's wrong?"

Lois explained, "Kristy's fever won't go down. We have to get her to the hospital, now." Clark carried Kristy into the truck. They drove to a small children's hospital.

An red haired woman and said, "Hi Clark and Lois. I'm Dr. Lana Lang. I'll take Kristy to a room."

Lois and Clark waited for hours until Lana came back. Lana explained, "Kristy has cystic fibrosis and has walking pneumonia. You two did the right thing bringing her in here."

Lois asked, "Is there any way to cure it?"

Lana explained, "I gave her some penicillin through an IV. Her fever has dropped to 102 degrees. I have prescriptions for her; they are for Tornalate for every eight hours, Pulmozyme also for every eight hours, Creon with all meals, TOBI, penicillin for ten days three times a day, and cefaclor every eight hours. She is going to be fine and can go home."

Kristy was wheeled into the lobby and into the truck. They stopped at the drugstore and got the prescriptions filled and went to the farm. Jason and Martha had just made Halloween Werewolf Chicken Claws and Edible Eyeballs which were carrots with cream cheese and olives on them with Pumpkin Smoothies to drink. Kristy came down dressed in her costume and exclaimed, "Happy Halloween, Mom, Dad, Jason, Grandma, Richard, and Ben."

Richard said, "I took Jason to the Halloween Carnival; he had a blast."

Kristy laughed which turned into a cough and said, "There's always next year. At least, I don't feel sick anymore." She took the two Creon pills before starting to eat.

Jason yawned and said after he finished his dinner, "I'm sleepy."

Lois said, "We should all get some sleep. Kristy, you need take the rest of your medicine."

Kristy took the rest of her medicine including the Children's Advil and said, "Dad, can you take me flying tomorrow?"

Clark smiled and said, "Sure, Kristy. Go to sleep." They went to sleep.

this is funny. i love it. it is very light hearted. superman to me was alayes lighter than batman. good always saw th elight and thigns always worked out. they jsut did and it was ok. i love that. can't wait to read more
