Summary: Cody get in accident at his job and starts to see ghosts. Melinda and Jim go to Boston to get away from Gabriel, ghosts and the dark spirits for the summer.

Chapter 1 The Accident

Cody Martin was on a ladder puting cans on the shelf when the ladder fall out from underneath him. He blacked out.

Wayne yelled, "CODY, WAKE UP!" He called 911.

The paramedics put Cody in the ambulance. At the Boston Hospital, Dr. Barret examined him and then put him in a room where Zack and their mother, Carey were sitting on chairs.

Dr. Barret explained, "Cody just has a concusion with some bleeding in the brain."

Cody saw a bright light above him.

Carey said kindly, "Cody, you need to wake up."

Zack said kindly, "Cody, you are my brother. I love you, Cody. Please pull through, Codester."

Cody opened his eyes and said, "Hi. I fell off a ladder."

Carey hugged Cody and asked, "How are you feeling, Cody?"

Cody replied tiredly, "Just a bad headache."

A couple hours later, Cody was in his bed in his room at the Tipton. Zack came into their room with a bowl of chicken noodle soup for him and said, "Cody, the soup is for you. It's from the kitchen at the hotel not ours."

Cody ate his soup and then got ready for bed. They fell asleep.
