Fan Fic and More

I just read it. Please tell me I'm not the only one that disliked it.

I've seen some pretty scary people out there in the netiverse who go crazy when someone even mentions Twilight sucking!

I LOVED the books but I'm so not a fan of Bella in any way, shape or form. She really gets on my nerves.

What specifically didn't you like about them?

I loved Twilight.
Bella is a bit of an irritating character though.
I hate the way she is constantly sacrificing herself.

Jacob is easily my favourite character.

I have to totally agree with you. Bella can be a bit annoying, but a heroine who was more - buffyesque just wouldn't work, I think. But her poor me attitude does get on my nerves just a bit

That's true. I guess Stephanie just did what she had to do.
I wonder if she likes Bella as a character... Probably. I always love all my characters, even the annoying ones.
Have you seen the cast list for the movie?
I really don't like who they picked for Emmett, Jacob and Edward. Oh and Rosalie was wrong. The actress suits dark hair better than blonde, her hair just looks like a wig.

yeah...i'm not too crazy about some of the choices, but hey they're actors. Their jobs are to make me believe

hmm. twill be interesting to see what parts they leave out.

yeah, that's the part I HATE about books being turned into movies....they always make changes that I think totally suck

someone really ought to ask MY opinion before they make those changes

i hate all the harry potter movies. they make me sick.
they leave out the parts that make it all make sense and include stupid things like and owl flying.

I was just thinking about goblet of fire - all that cgi money wasted on a dragon flight scene that never happened and then they ruined the maze scene - it was horrible

I'm in two minds about going to see the twilight movie.

I'm not crazy about some of the casting....we'll see though...i'm hoping i'll be surprised

I'm not crazy about the casting either.
My friend has seen the commercial and says it looks terrible (the commercial, thus the movie also).
It will be so depressings seeing it if it is awful.
Let's think positively.

i saw the trailer on myspace and it didn't look HORRIFIC - i'm withholding judgement for now

My friend decided she could have made a better trailer.
I haven't seen the trailer, I think I'm gonna hold out as long as possible.
But then again, I'm a curious being.

I liked the first book, but I wasn't able to make it through the second, it was just annoying me. 100 pages describing that absolutely NOTHING happenes was too much for me.
The movie trailer looks great though, so I hope the film will be better than the second book!
