Fan Fic and More

I just started to read the Roswell books and I am a little dissapointed in them. For one the plot isn't the same as what it was on the show. It is rather a difficult way to read after you are used to the show

Which roswell books, the roswell high series or the series of books that came out AFTER the show.

The roswell high books are what came first, and they based the show on them, however they really strayed from the books in a huge way.

I've read some of the Roswell High books, but couldn't really get into them, but they're geared for a fairly young audience, which is probably why. I've not ready any of the post-Graduation books, because I heard they weren't any good.

well the post graduation books were not nobel prize winning literature, they were pretty good, especially the last two where they tried very hard to tie up loose ends from the show, including the dupes and the special unit

It is the Roswell High books but the cover they used are the characters of the show. At the moment I am reading The Seeker and that one is strange

I enjoyed the Roswell High books... but I read them right after Season One, when I was what, fifteen? lol They're not written amazingly well, nor are they a whole lot like the show, minus the first book, of course... but I really did enjoy them. They got into some really interesting sci-fi stuff. Melinda Metz went in some very interesting directions...

The post-Grad books... I can hardly stand to read them... but I have read most of them (haven't gotten to the last two just yet) and they do have some interesting concepts in them. Have I read stuff that's much more print-worthy in fanfic? Heck yes. But the one about Isabel dreamwalking Kyle was pretty good, at least... and if the last two do attempt to fix a few things, like Tracie said... well, I'll push myself through them at some point.

Only for Roswell would I buy such poor literature. :

Lisa - ita...only for Roswell. They weren't great by any stretch of the imagination, but they did serve one very important purpose...they kept Roswell alive that much longer.

Though, i totally swear, some of the post grad writers read our fan fic and stole from it compelely I actually have a disclaimer in something I wrote that ended up in one of the books saying I wrote it first

I can't find any Post-Graduation Roswell Books! They are Not popular around here, but i've always been marching to my own band!

you probably won't they aren't writing them anymore and most have been pulled from the shelves.

You'd be better off trying used book stores, flea markets or amazon.com

Yeah, the only reason I found the last one is because I went to the Comic Con in San Diego (where I live lol) and, well, it was the Comic Con... so it was there.

I have all the books. I loved the books in the first series. I read those before I saw the show. I was a Michael and Maria fan then too. lol
