The Moon
The moon cried an onyx for me
knowing that in space I'm free
looking for the right answer for life
because I know that I'm where I belong
I looked up in question at the stars
trying to figure out who you are
I saw my tears in the moon's reflection
and know that there are some fear in my eyes
I love you so much my heart aches
but the fear is building inside me
please try and understand
I'm the product of the moon
and please it is too soon
I'm on the edge of loosing my dreams
all the threads of the tapestry is coming loose
and now there's nothing left to do
as you look up at the full moon
see my tears and now you'll know
I can sense my fear falling like snow

Shattered Image

Thank you for the Feedback
Here is another one of my poems
In a house of mirrors
looking at different images
trying not to panic
but now not knowing
Shattered are the images in your mind
not trying to think of why
questions who you are suppose to be
pressing on to see what there is to see
Shattered are the dreams
coming untangled are the seams
where are you suppose to go
when no one wants you around?

To Break a Heart

Thank you for the reveiw of the two poems I wrote. Here's one more
~*~
To break a heart in two
To break a heart in million pieces
To break a heart it’s true
You’ll never see their faces
I know the pain is deep
I know how much you cared
You will never know how much they shared
In a friendship you never saw
To be a witness of pain
What have you gained?
Even I don’t know the truth
Then whom can I trust?
To break a heart in two
To break a heart in million pieces
To break a heart it’s true
You’ll never see their faces
Inside the mirror of time.

A Dreamer's Space

by TessHardingEvans
The darkness collide in time
knowing that there's time to think
the dreamer's space is colorful
try to imagine time itself
When the eclipse of the sun took place
you'll know that there will be a time for a Dreamer's Space
the stars shone their incadesent shine
try to imagine time
You stood on your own planet
and saw the moons and stars of your mind
your tears sparkle like stars
but you are afraid of the Dreamers Space
There will be a battle for control
the control of the imagination isn't there
if there could be control you must take it
the Dreamers Space is no fools paradise
and you could never fight back

Those were great!

I think I liked
The Moon especially, but they were all good! You really have a way with imagery! :D

Mysterious Star

by TessHardingEvans
In the furthest corner of space you lurk
Not knowing what your purpose is
But in my mind you are growing
You are my mysterious star
I’ve watched every eclipse you went through
I’ve even seen everything you’ve ever done
But for a moment in my life
There has been no light
You’re my mysterious star
Knowing my every thought
For everything in my life that I’ve wanted
You can truly trust me
You’ve seen my tears
You’ve seen my fears
But you can be for certain
I’m not a burden
Mysterious star, the one in the sky
I know now who you are, and even why
There can be one glimpse of eternity
For happiness of achieving dreams
Dreams that can go on!

Unnoticed
Posted: Fri Sep 30, 2005 2:30 pm
by TessHardingEvans
For many years you cried
You screamed your lungs dry
No one seemed to care
Because they seemed to think
Unnoticed are your dreams
I tried to look into a mirror
But what I saw was cracked
It was like my soul was hurt
Hurt by words spoken and unspoken
When will I ever be noticed for who I am?
How is it that when I want something
It was taken away from me
Am I the only one that bleeds?
I even tried to close my heart
Even trying to be a part
But that doesn’t seem to work
Life is just an illusion
Unnoticed am I

Mysterious star was cute!
Unnoticed was a different style for you, but I liked it possibly the most. Could feel the angst there.

The Invisible Life
Posted: Sat Oct 01, 2005 2:38 pm
by TessHardingEvans
I looked at the people around me
Knowing that deep in I want to be free
How much more can I take?
This invisible life is my fate
There are places I want to visit
All those wonders I want to feel
Never underestimating the Earth
And trying to live life
So many dreams I have in my heart
Not to be parted from
The stars beckon me to be in space
Nut how could I ever face then?
With this invisible life

Nice! I like it! But never give up your dreams! :D Even an award-winning photo seems invisible until it's developed.

Good question. Hmmmm, it seemed more raw and free flowing than many of your other poems.

Time and Space

well, I wrote a lot of poems over the years. Some are darker than the others, but it is written in the way of how I feel that particular day..
I run and run…but never far
I’m often seen…but never watched
People try to defy my name
Yet, I’ve been around since the first day
I’ve seen how people fought
I’ve seen the destruction pf my heart
But still I constructed the past
For centuries I’ve been denied
For centuries I cried
My name has become a household word
My face on everybody’s wrists
For some I run fast
For others I run slowly
Now do you know who I am?
Maybe you’ve seen my face
If you liked the way I work
My name is none other than Time and Space

Wonderful work. I love them all, but I think my two favorites are 'Unnoticed and 'Invisible Life'.
I have a personal belief that understanding the darkness makes us better appreciate the light.
Great Stuff :D
