So how many
Firefly fans do we have here?
The movie is out and it's fantastic!!! Even if you're not a sci-fi fan ... you'll love it! It's full of the Joss wit and action ... a thoroughly satisfying movie!! If you don't believe me ... trust The New York Times and the Chicago Tribune! Although why you'd trust them instead of me ... I don't get
Go See SERENITY ... and then come here and talk about it !!

Mr. Universe had his very own BuffyBot!

And the ax
screamed FREY to me, too!

our theater was NOT full..stupid Londonderry people..what do they know
I LOVED it. I don't mind that they tweaked the backstory a bit and had Simon rescuing River...even though he said in the series that people smuggled her out, he could have been um..manipulating the truth there and not telling Mal.
Kaylee Frye: Been more'n a year since I had anything twixt my nethers didn't run on batteries!
Capt. Malcolm Reynolds: I don't want to hear that!
Jayne Cobb: I could stand to hear a little more.
bahahahahahahahahah

That was such a hillarious scene. I just know my DVD are going to get worn out with me replaying certain fave scenes!
Tracie, I'm impressed you can quote that scene with just one viewing ... I can't keep all those words straight in my head.

Alienmom, Did you watch the show? You'll enjoy the movie either way. my rents didn't watch the show and both of them really liked the movie

But if you don't want to be spoiled I'd stay away from this thread ... things might be said that would lessen the impact of the movie.

Good to know, because sometimes my memory totally craps out.
P.S. Watching Objects in Space right now.
Simon: Are you Alliance?
Early: Am I a lion?
Of course, I'm not really paying attention to what they're saying. Shirtless!Simon is on

I just finished watching disk 3 ... I think that one has my most fave eps on it ... "Out of Gas" My out and out favourite, "Ariel" , "War Stories" the end of that one is totally hillarious when Mal tells Zoe about having to sleep with her to apease Wash

and then ofcourse "Trash" ... YoSaffBridge ... nothing more to say
WHY the H**L was this show cancelled???? It's so bloody good.

I

the show...wish it had been running all these years. Stoopid Fox idiots!
One of my favorite moments (hard to pick only one) was in Shindig, at the end of the duel:
Mal: Mercy is the mark of a great man.
[He lightly stabs Sydney Bristow's Dead Fiancé.]
Mal: Guess I'm just a good man.
[He repeats the poking.]
Mal: Well, I'm all right.
Anya - Have you ever read the 3-issue comic series that links between "Objects in Space" and the movie? I tried looking for it at Amazon, but had no luck.

That's a great scene
Caroline !
I'm having my local comic book store get it for me ... you can also go to the
Darkhorse Comics website and get it directly from them.

LOVELOVELOVE ya,
Anya!

Thanks for that link!
Edit:

You can't actually buy from that site. I found
a link to this site, but they don't have the first issue.
