Should Have…

Share on:

I don’t regret the things I’ve done, I regret the things I didn’t do when I had the chance. – Unknown

The absolute worst phrase in the English language is I should have…..  I should have done this, I should have tried that.  That’s what regret is all about….thinking about the should haves.  Don’t live a life full of regrets.  When you are given an opportunity to try something new and different, go for it.  But, and this is the important part, don’t waste time having regret over choices that you’ve made.  You’ve made a choice or a decision, honor it! Don’t get caught up in the looking back trap and saying I should have done that instead, that will get you nowhere fast, but at the same time, don’t be afraid to try something new and different and then have regrets because you didn’t try.
