Is the Problem the Problem?

The problem is not the problem. The problem is your attitude about the problem.  – Captain Jack Sparrow

You know it’s a good day when you can start it with a quote from Captain Jack Sparrow.  He was very wise, that Captain Jack.  We all have problems.  Life, unfortunately, is full of them.  You just can’t get away from them.  But when you think about it, nine times out of ten, we have an incredibly capjacknegative attitude about our problems.  Well of course, they’re problems, right?  We’re not going to jump for joy and say “woo hoo, I’ve got problems,” but we can look at our problems differently.  Don’t look upon them as something that is insurmountable, look upon them as challenges that you’ll tackle and overcome.  Instead of saying “I can’t because,” try saying “how can I do this?”  or “What will it take?”  It’s all in how you look at it.  There is almost always a way to get around your problems.  Just open your mind and look for the answers.
