Go the Distance

Share on:

You won’t realize the distance you’ve walked until you take a look around and realize how far you’ve been. – Anonymous

When I was a kid, time seemed to pass so slowly.  As i grew older, time seemed to pass more quickly.  But I always still seemed to be racing towad something and never ever getting there.  I sometimes feel like I’ve been struggling to get there, but was in actuality, getting nowhere.  But then I sat back and took stock of my life and who I am, and what do you know, I’ve made great strides in my own personal journey.  I was only able to see that by looking at where I started.  I felt like I’ve been stagnating career wise, but when I really sat down and looked at where I’ve started, and where I am now, I realized I’ve accomplished some pretty great things.  Am I where I want to be?  No, of course not, because like most people, I keep raising that bar, and that’s okay.  I’ve realized that I’m making great strides and I will go the distance, and so will you.  We can do this!
