Be True

Share on:

Well, if you’re true to yourself, you’re going to be true to everyone else. – John Wooden

I’ve been thinking a lot about being true to yourself, and what that really means.  Essentially, you need to be honest with yourself.  Don’t make excuse to yourself.  Own what you do, or don’t do.  The by product of that is if you’re being true to who you are and accepting responsibility for your life, you will in turn, be true to other people.  It’s not something you’ll have to go out of your way to do.  By being true to you and treating yourself with respect, that will naturally spill over to others.  It’s not a bad way to live 🙂
