Celebrate and Praise Life

I’m having one of those days where the last thing I want to do is celebrate and praise my life. In fact what I want to do is put on my grumpy face and celebrate and praise lifegrumble and moan my way throughout my day.  And that want is precisely why I’m going to celebrate and praise life.

It’s hard when what you want to do, be grumpy in my case, is directly at odds with what you should do. Even though I am feeling like I have nothing at all worth celebrating, I’m going to take a step back and make a list.  Lists are a great tools.  I use them to get things done, but I also use them to help me see things in a much clearer way.  It’s good to have an arsenal of tools at the ready especially the multi taskers, and list making is a multi tasker for sure!

So what do you do when you feel like you have nothing  to celebrate and praise in life?  Well first, you’re alive, and that’s HUGE.  You may not think so right now, but trust me, it is.  You are special and you bring something special to this word, just by being in it.  So take a good hard look at who you are and what you’re doing.  You have plenty of things to celebrate and praise.  And do you want to know something that’s really cool? The more things you find to celebrate in your life, the more things there are to celebrate.

So even when you’re down and glum, or mad and angry, take stock of the good things in your life.  Be glad for them – and truly celebrate them.  You’ll feel better and you’ll find that you bring more happiness and joy to your life.
