Main Characters
J.T. Sabina, and Eric grew up together, and have been friends for their entire lives. Aisling has always been on the outside looking in. Never fitting in, never a part of the crowd. But when the four meet, the have an instant bond. A feeling as if they had known each other for ever – Consanguinity.

The Veilshard Connection
Each of the four main characters carries a shard disguised as an ordinary piece of jewelry or an accessory, unaware at first of its hidden purpose. To the outside world, these items look like keepsakes all disguised as something else. Small tokens of style or sentiment. But in truth, each shard holds an ancient fragment of the Veilshard, a relic forged when the Ancients bound Earth to Elydrion through the ley lines.
Individually, the shards awaken different gifts in their bearers: memory, intuition, strength, and growth. They stir visions, sharpen senses, and create bonds that transcend time itself. Yet only when all four come together can the Veilshard’s true nature be revealed—a conscious relic, alive with the voices of those who came before. In uniting the shards, the characters are not just piecing together an artifact, but stepping into a legacy older than Nutfield itself, one that will demand courage, sacrifice, and trust in one another.
