She could see her fingers trembling as she turned on the faucet. The shaking was subtle but continued unabated as she fiddled with the hot water and then the cold to find the right combination.

Buffy stood, naked and slightly glassy-eyed contemplating the water as it began to fill the tub. When she looked down her eyes grazed over the rough, passion-induced bruise marks left over from last night. <i>“I guess even if you’re the Slayer, you can’t fuck a house down without having something to show for it,”</i> she thought and almost smiled at her own quasi-funny even though she was currently an emotional blank sheet as far as she could tell.

Before she had been angry and horny and sad and desperate and a few other emotions she wasn’t familiar with all at once, but now as she stood contemplating her toes and the porcelain tub, she couldn’t tell exactly how she felt. Well, besides shell-shocked and surprised at herself.

She slipped down ass first into the bath and let out a sigh when the warm water hit her skin. Her muscles were sore from fighting-sex-fighting-sex and the water felt good.

Not that I think that Buffy and Spike were all about sex (oh no, redemptionista here - although I like all stages of Spike) but I think it's hard to write Spuffy without any hint of steaminess. Hottest screen couple of any TV couple ever. Only rivaled by Max and Liz on Roswell although in a different way.

I agree! They held a passion that existed long before they slept together and existed long after. In my opinion, they were the hottest. I liked Max and Liz and am an avid Roswell watcher, but I'm closer to Spike and Buffy. I write Spike and Willow and like them together too, but my #1 couple is Spike and Buffy.

Yeah, Spuffy is my strongest ship in any fandom (which I can say here since it's "our" forum, lol and my RosFriends hopefully, er, won't get mad). I could write a whole ship manifesto about it but this isn't the place. lol I've read some Spike and Willow too. Have you ever gone to "Bugger this" ? 'cause there is some gooooooood fic there.

Cool! I will check out the site. I'm not against Adult fics. I like a lot of them. I write love scenes in my own stories, just not maybe in the same context. But the romance is still there. Anyway, thanks! I'll look at it sometime and see what they have there.
