Chapter 1 The Bite

On July 20th, Harry Potter and Petunia Dursley were driving to place to where Petunia and Lily spent their summers.

Harry asked boredly, "Where are we going?"

Petunia replied, "We're going to Hayfield Riding Centre for a week. We're here."

They got Room #20 which had 2 double beds and a TV, and the bathrooms was right next to their room.

Aunt Petunia said kindly, "I'm going to get our lugage. Harry, go walk around for a bit."

Harry went outside and bumped into a beautiful curly blond haired girl with brown eyes around his age who he recongnized from Hogwarts wearing a pair of beige breeches and a Grey Polo t-shirt with a pair of black riding boots.

Harry said kindly, "I'm sorry."

The girl said kindly, "Hi Harry. I'm Sophia Fawcett, 7th year Ravenclaw; I work here during the summer. Its okay. Want go for a ride with me?"

Harry replied, "Sure, Sophia."

Sophia and Harry went to the stables.

Sophia said kindly, "Harry, you'll be riding Freebee, a chestnut gelding; I'm riding a dark bay mare, Abbey. I help you tack up."

They tacked up their horses and put on their helmets. Sophia showed him how to mout on to his horse and how to hold the reins; she mounted her horse. They rode up to the lake.
