Part 1
Phoebe was in the upstairs bathroom fixing her hair and make -up for her Valentine's Date with Cole.
“Prue?” She called out
“What?” Prue replied from somewhere downstairs
“Can I borrow your lipstick?” she asked already beginning to apply it to her lips
Prue who was downstairs reading a book looks up at the ceiling.
“Since when do you ask?!”
Phoebe pause looking down at the lipstick she laughs.
“I’m was trying to be nice” Phoebe yell down to her oldest sister
Prue mutters “Sure Pheebs” as she goes back to reading her book.
Kitchen
Cole shimmers into the kitchen to find Prue trying to move a fork with her powers, but it’s not working.
Prue looks up and sees Cole holding a bouquet of long stem red roses. “Hey Cole” she muttered before going back to trying to make the fork move
Cole was about to return the greeting when he notices the fork doesn’t move. “You lost your powers?...what...how?” he asked walking over to her concerned.
Prue looks up him and sighs as she astral projects out of the room.
“PHOEBE! Cole’s here!!!” Cole hears Prue shout from another room.
“I’ll be down in a minute!!!” Phoebe shouts form upstairs
Making his way to the Conservatory, he finds Prue reading a book on telekinesis.
Prue looks up from the book “Nice flowers” she says looking over the rim of her book
“Thanks” Cole walks over to her and glances into the book. “When did you start trying to use your powers in Astral Form?” He asked intrigued
Prue closes the book and smirks, “When a demon named Belthazor, started trying to kill me and my sisters” she replied standing up.
Prue realized how close Cole was when she stood, she was now able to smell his cologne.
“Welll I’m not trying to kill you and your sisters anymore” he whispered leaning over her.
Prue smiled “I know that” she said taking the flowers and walking towards the kitchen. “Which means a whole bunch of pissed off demons will be coming after us”
Cole watched her walk into the kitchen before following her.
“And I agree you should all be on your guard Prue. But it’s Valentine's Day...shouldn’t you be getting ready for a date or something?” he asked thoughtfully, looking down at the counter.
Prue scoffed as she took a vase out of the cabinet “I wish” she said feeling the vase with water.
Cole looked up “What happened to Bill...Bob...”
Prue looks back at him and grins “Craig?”
“Right...him”
“I broke up with him” she replied dryly as she put the roses into the vase.
Cole leans over the counter “Why?”
Prue puts the vase on the counter, briefly glancing across at him. “He wasn’t the right guy for me”
She replied quickly turning around. Cole grabs one of the roses from the vase and walks around the counter. Prue had now submerged herself in the rather interesting contents of the fridge.
Sensing him behind her Prue stands up, taking a deep breathe she turns around.
“Happy Valentine’s Day Prue” he whispered
Prue looks down at the rose, when she looks up Cole had taken a step closer.
Phoebe chooses this moment to come rarely loudly down the stairs.
“Hey where are you guys?” she called
Prue towards back to the fridge.
“In here” Cole called huskily
Phoebe comes into the kitchen beaming “Hey Baby” she said walking over to Cole and giving him a kiss on the lips.
She notices the roses on the counter “Are those for me?”
Phoebe looks over at Prue who was now holding a bottle of water “Aren’t they gorgeous?”
“Yeah” Prue couldn’t keep the tinge of bitterness out of her reply, as she made her way out of the room.
Phoebe looks up at Cole and smiles apolitically “Don't mind her, not having a date is making her crabby. Hope she wasn‘t to mean”
Phoebe said engaging Cole in another kiss, but his eyes were busy watching another sister leave the room.
