A/N: Story is complete and totally fluff
He wants to tell her how he feels about her. He never does. Not even when they are alone, where no one can hear them. He loves to have those feelings hidden. Away from her, away from everyone. She always smiles when he holds her hand and he loves her for it. It’s one of the many things he has never told her. He loves her smile, her laughter, the way she eats pasta and every little detail about her. She knows. He knows she does. It’s the way she looks at him before she kisses him. He loves that look.
She’s sitting on the floor, going though boxes. Sometimes she swears and throws things around. He’s already been hit by a plastic apple. He laughs every time she finds something she can use. She’s looking for Halloween decoration.
She can feel his eyes on her. She wants to turn around and look at him, just look at the way his brown eyes looks at her. She loves his eyes, she’s never told him. She wants to, but the word never come out. She throws another object out off the box. It makes a small sound.
“Careful please” she can hear him say. She giggles and turns around to face him. He’s rubbing his forehead.
“You think this is funny,” he asks.
She shakes her head, but is still giggling. He get up from her bed and walks over to her. He sits down next to her and start to tickle her. She laughs harder. He stops and looks at her, she’s smiling. He kisses her, she kisses him back. He loves the way her kisses makes him feel. Wanted and loved all at once. She has never said the words, but he knows she loves him.
She rests her head in his lap and looks up at him. She wants to say something, but nothing comes out. Instead she listens to the rain.
“It’s raining kittens,” she says softly.
“It can’t rain kittens,” he argues.
“It can. And it does,” she replies amused.
“If you say so,” he says.
“I won,” she says triumphantly.
“You didn’t won,” he shakes his head.
“I won,” she whispers.
He starts to play with her hair. He doesn’t look at her, he looks at the rain. She’s humming an old Janis Joplin song.
She sits up and faces him. Her eyes are looking at him in admiration, she wants to tell him something important. She feels that she should tell him how she feels. She doesn’t. Instead she goes back to the boxes.
“I love Halloween,” she says. He knows, she’s been counting the days since July.
“I love Trick and treat,” she looks up at him and waits for a respond. When she doesn’t get one, she starts to throw things around in her room again. She almost hits him again and he’s about to say something, but he doesn’t.
She’s wearing his shirt, he smiles. He found one of his shirts under he bed. She’s always stealing his shirts, he doesn’t mind. He loves the way she looks in it.
“I love Trick and treat too,” he says quietly.
“You love to scare the kids,” she responds. He nods his head and grins.
“The way they look. So terrified,” he says dreamingly.
“You’re sick,” she says turns around to look at him.
“Maybe, but you’re childish,” he leans over to kiss her.
“Ewww boys,” she removes her head so he kisses her hair instead.
“
Very funny,” he doesn’t try to kiss her again. She laughs and kisses him on the cheek and goes back to the box.
He could stay in her room for days, weeks, maybe years. Her room makes him feel good, she makes him feel amazing. He looks at the walls, they are covered with posters and pictures. Some of them are old and some are newer. He’s about to say something, when she jumps up from the floor. He looks at her surprised .
“I found it,” she holds up a black shirt with a skull printed on it. She claps her hands together. She spots him looking at her and she blushes. He wants to tease her about it. The way small things can make her happy. He doesn’t tease, instead he gets up from the hard wooden floor and kisses her. She returns it and looks down at the shirt.
“I think it’s nice,” she says and holds it up. He looks at it.
“It’s something alright,” he says. She slaps him playfully on the arm and starts to spin around. She laughs and asks him to join her. He shakes his head.
“I’m not a fan of hugging the toilet boil,” he replies amused. She stops to look at him.
“I’m not going to get sick,” she says.
“That’s what you say now. If you keep that up for thirty minutes you will probably be very friendly with the toilet boil,” he teases her. She frowns and glares at him.
“Party pooper,” she pouts and sits down on the floor. He sits down next to her.
“Am not,” he argues.
They sit and look at each other for a minute. He moves closer to her and she rests her head on his shoulder. He smiles and starts to play with her hair again.
“Do you wanna go out for a while?” he asks. She looks up at him and nods her head.
“You know that means you have to move,” he says.
“You could carry me,” she says hopefully.
“You still had to move,” he replies. She thinks for a minute and a smile crosses her lips.
“I know, but I wouldn’t have to walk,” she looks into his brown eyes.
“I’m not carrying you,” he states.
“But,” she whines.
“No!” he stops to play with her hair and kisses her on the tip of her nose. She sits up straight and sights.
“You’re no fun,” she pouts.
“That’s not what you said last night.”
