There are times when life takes a turn
All the bridges that you had to burn
Take a good look at the sky
Don’t even try to wonder why
The enigma of space lies in the stars
Even if your world has to carry the scars
When life has given you a blow
Try not to cry
Where is your laughter?

The enigma of space let’s you be you
Even if there’s nothing you can do
Don’t even try to imagine what you can do
Don’t even try to imagine what you can’t see
Only let it be

Nice! That could be titled, "Only You" or "Only You Can Be" or something like that. Anyway, very nice! :D

To be a witness of pain
what have you gained

For a while I denied myself
Knowing that I am unimportant
Hello stranger is what my heart said
It is I that has won the bet

I tried hard to find my calling
Looked high and low, but to nothing
I even tried to quit
Hello stranger, do not fear
Keep your heart and head clear

I’m not trying to justify my actions
I just want my love to come
For a long time I denied it
I even cried
Hello stranger, your heart is broken

I’m not only kidding myself
It is as if I am living in a loop
A circle that seemed to be unbroken
Only tears seemed to flow
Hello stranger look in the mirror

Look into your eyes
What do you see?
I see pain and hurt
That is what my heart cried
Hello stranger break through that cocoon
You are the only one that matters!

I decided to post two poems at once. I hope you guys like it

wondering if you knew the place
where to now?
travelling from world 2world

Did you think this would be the one?
if you could only stay afloat
this world is beginning to end
with nothing more to offer
that's why you travel
from world 2world

The pain could only be bareble
but what if you didn't survive?
the world is nothing more than a planet
a planet with a lot of problems

The reason life is going on
world 2world that's the one
the one place I have to be
is travelling from world 2world

Broken Moon
As I look up into the sky
I see the heartache in your eye
The centuries took its toll
Broke your body and now it isn’t whole

Broken moon, you look as if you cry
You see the love’s quarrel in your perfect eye
You were there from the first day of love’s arrival
I can only say that love is strife of your mortal lives

Broken moon, please don’t cry over our heartache
We can only take as much as what the world gave us
I’m not the one to blame
Yet I feel all the shame
I can’t love because love’s hour hasn’t come
Broken moon, what have I done?

I looked at the stars
Wondering if it would be far
Every where I ever go
It seemed like I’m destined to fail

My life has been a roller coaster ride
Even if I’m the one at the wheel
Where could I ever find the answers?
To all the questions of the world

Every one has to create their destiny
But where could you find it?
Destiny has its own road to take
So much is at stake
So I’m destined to fail

The stars told me that I’m the one
But the wind told me I don’t belong
Where to now?
Where can I go from here?
Too much questions
Not enough answers to find

Awwww... Very nicely done! I especially liked these two lines:

The stars told me that I’m the one
But the wind told me I don’t belong

It's sort of bittersweet but beautiful. :D

In college, I wrote a song with a remarkably similar theme, but maybe not as poetic. I'm going to post it on my thread so you can see. It was called "Where Is don Quijote?"

Two doors in world of dreams
One seems to be forever
Other is just an illusion
Where could they lead?

I’ve tried to picture a reality
A reality out of dreams, but
I’ve gained nothing
A stubborn heart is all that I have

Two doors separated by a curtain
A curtain of tears
Yet in all of my life
I’ve gained nothing, but fear

Fear for an unknown future
Knowing that everything has been destroyed
Your life is just a lie
All you can say is good-bye

Oh very nice. It speaks to me of disappointment, disillusionment, pain, loss, fear and hopelessness and yet the'stubborn heart' remains speaking of a small glimmer of hope amidst it all.

Tell them that in space we’re alone

I recognize that first one from your story! I like it! :D And the second one is very interesting, too. It seems to combine the idea of being drawn to the stars with the idea of being together alone, the floating in space part. Anyway, very nice!
