Ok guys it has been way to long since I have posted a fic and I figured in prep for Nano'07 I would practice. So here is a Tess Kyle dic. The forum looked so lonely. Um I need a plot don't I? Well maybe not. I remember the times gone by of simple little fluff pieces that was only there to make you laugh or make us smile. Or even the short little WHAM pieces or even the PWP (but this fic isn't about that) So here is my contrubution to getting fics rolling. This is a short little something...well I hope it stays short. lol. Enjoy!

Tess had stumbled across some old family albums in the garage last weekend and noticted there were no growing up photos of Kyle. She talked to Maria and found out after his mom left they stopped taking photos. Once Kyle started playing football that all changed...well only the trophy shots.
It made her cry for her 'Buddha-Boy' She shook her head. ~Nascedo was wrong. We have more in common with humans then he thought. Both species are capable of neglecting their charges. Screw its the alien way. Their four prior selves must have felt something or none of this mess would have occured.. And that has to be taught or learned or whatever. Either way for a time for whatever the reasons were the adults involved had let them down.~
And this was why she was finishing up a banner. "Hello? Where is everyone?" Alex and Isabel had just arrived to the first annual Valenti Egg Hunt.
"Shhhhh!!!! Jim and Kyle aren't up yet."

"Wait you still haven't told them?" Max and Liz choose that moment to put in an apperance.
"No I haven't. If Jim was interested in doing it he would have done it before."
"Shut up Michael. I think its sweet. And if you had not been up watching the '100 Greatest Stanley Cup Moments' then you wouldn't be tired" Michael and Maria made their entrance.
The backyard was all set up and looking like a page out of some Easter Egg hunt movie. Tess had two tables with boiled eggs and every die, paint, glitter, and decorative means known to man or alien. She had a table for making egg ornaments and two for drying. She had even manged to construct a gate that said 'Egg Hunt Through Hare'
"Hey Tess how long before we wake Kyle and the Shierff up?"
"DAD!!!!! The Easter Bunny came!!!!!"
"I think he's up. Iz."
"Very observant Spaceboy."
"No I haven't. If Jim was interested in doing it he would have done it before."

"Great Buddha what are you guys doing here?" Kyle had entered closely followed by his dad while Michael and Maria were about to engage in one of their famous bicker and then makeup sessions.
Tess turned around, "Surprise Kyle! Surprise Jim!"
Jim and Kyle looked around them and read the banner 'First Annual Valenti Easter Egg Hunt' "What did you guys do?"
"Oh no guys this was all Tess' idea. We are just here to help you celebrate." Maria explanied.
Kyle walked to Tess and gave her a hug. "You did this for us? Why? I mean thanks but why?"
Jim shook his head. He had better get in there before Kyle made a mess of things. "What Kyle means Tess is that we are shocked. And thats my fault. After his mom left I just I don't know and I shouldn't have but I did and I'm sorry." He turned to Kyke. "I'm sorry Kyle."
Tess did not know what to say.

Tess did not know what to say. This was turning into a somber event and she did not want that. "I'm glad you guys are touched. But I did not do this to make anyone feel bad. I decided the past - all are pasts need to be left there and some new memories, some new pasts needed to be created. As well as pictures lots of pictures. Albums worth. So lets party people. Isabel has very tight schedule for us."
And thats what they did. Our podsquad painted eggs and ate eggs and hid and found eggs...Or if you were Michael some of them exploded or landed in Maria's hair. But that is a story for another time.

I love stories where Tess is a good person and wish that she and either Alex or Kyle could have gotten together. I think you did a nice job with this and enjoyed reading it!
