Roswell Auction Drabble no. 2

As part of the recent auction, I offered a drabble or spoiler question to everybody who bid on me. This one was written for Rhonda Ann who asked for candy.

Pink

Michael's favorite color is pink.

It's the color of Maria's lips. She tastes like pink raspberries. And raspberries always remind him of kissing Maria. Pink is also the color of Maria's soft skin, flushed and warm, after he makes love to her.

Pink was the color of the line on the pregnancy test that confirmed Maria was pregnant. Pink is the color he has painted the walls of the nursery and the blanket she lovingly knit.

His new daughter has the same pink lips as her mother.

Pink is Michael's favorite color. Though if anyone asks, he says it's black.

Second base

On the mantelpiece above the fireplace there's a picture of Max at six years old. He's wearing a bra belonging to his mother on his head. He was playing spacemen at the time and thought it made a good pretend helmet.

It's the first thing Liz sees when she comes over to have dinner with his family. Max wants the ground to swallow him up. She's thinks it's really cute.

Later they drive to Buckley Point and steam up the windows of his mother's car.

"Want to play spacemen, Max?" Liz asks.

Max grins wolfishly and reaches behind her back.
