Summary: This started out as a very short drabble, then it was going to be this long smutty fic and well it got all smooshie. It's still very short
I know this is not much of a summary but just read it!Author’s Note: I wrote this for Jenny, she said I could post it and I'm not sure anyone but her and Tracie will read it but that's ok, I did have fun writing it and swooning over Denny

SCAR
The moon coming thru the window gives her just enough light to see the scar, She allows her fingertips to graze it lightly. She wasn’t sure if it was because she was a surgeon, but it fascinated her. It might also have been because she knew, if he didn’t have that scar he wouldn’t be here.
WAITING
After three long months and a few small complications, they were finally able to make love. They took it easy. She had known he would be a selfless lover, making sure she was taken care of…she almost thought it wasn’t going to happen. He had been bugging her for a few weeks, telling her his doctor said it was okay. She had refused, not wanting to risk it. Finally it had been someone she least expected to tell her it was going to be fine.
RISK
Bailey took Izzie aside and explained to her that she didn’t want to know exactly what was wrong with her, but she had some idea (mumbling about these damn interns and all the sex) and she better take her word for it, Bailey knew something about this after all, her husband had also had major surgery
HUSBAND
Izzie still hadn’t gotten used to that idea. They’d gotten married about four weeks after he had his operation, and exactly one week after he came home. She was cooking dinner one night when and he came up behind her, kissing her neck…telling her to come with him to the Justice of the Peace, he wanted her to be his wife and he was tried of waiting around for things. She called her friends and they all showed up
FRIENDS
All of her friends have been supportive, almost to a fault. Meredith calls her a lot, Cristina brought over a set kitchen towels (it even had pot holders), Callie and George came over. Callie brought food and George, taking on the role of big brother, gave Denny the “Talk.” Addison stopped by one night with the excuse that she wanted to remind Izzie to come in and talk to her about birth control and stayed for a bottle of wine. Even though it must have been hard for him Alex stopped by.
ALEX
Izzie came home from the grocery store to find Alex sitting at her kitchen table drinking, Alex having a beer, Denny having coffee. He smiled at her, and she smiled back. Alex stays for dinner and Denny walks him to his car. He came back in and walked up to find her doing dishes.
“He still loves you,”
“I know,”
“He wants you to be happy, he wants ME to make you happy.”
She smiles.
“ I will.”
“I know.”
Oh that's so sweet!! 
I too was sad when Denny died. I'm glad to see another direction that it could have gone with he and Izzie. 
Makes me remember why I miss Denny/Izzy so much.
