Love Changes Everything – It all started with a boy, a girl and a silver handprint
by Majiklmoon (Tracie Joy)
Story Description
After the events of Departure, Liz Parker is left questioning everything she thought she knew about Max Evans and the future they were supposed to share. But what if the mysterious visitor from the future wasn’t who everyone believed he was?
As the group struggles with fractured relationships, hidden motives, and the lingering threat of Kivar, they begin to uncover the possibility that the timeline itself may have been manipulated.
If the past was altered… who changed it?
And more importantly, why?
In this alternate retelling of Roswell’s second season, the characters must confront love, loyalty, and destiny while discovering that sometimes the future we’re fighting for isn’t the one we were meant to have.
About This Story
Love Changes Everything is a long-form Roswell fan fiction novel originally written and published online between 2003 and 2004 under the pen name Majiklmoon.
The story began as part of the Roswell fandom’s Departure Debacle Challenge, a writing challenge that invited authors to rewrite the controversial events surrounding the episode Departure and explore what might have happened if the timeline had taken a different path.
What started as a challenge entry grew into a full alternate storyline that reimagines the second season of the series.
This story became the first installment in the Antar to Earth and Back series and was originally published chapter by chapter across several early fan fiction communities and forums.
A Note About This Edition
This edition is presented as it was originally written, with only minor formatting updates to make it readable as an ebook.
Very little editing has been done in order to preserve the original story as it appeared when first published online. Think of this as a snapshot of early fandom writing and one writer’s creative journey.
