How We View Ourselves

Share on:

Maybe this year, we ought to walk through the rooms of our lives not looking for flaws, but potential. – Ellen Goodman

We are our own worst critics.  We find every possible flaw we can in our lives, and we also find a few that quite possibly don’t even exist.  Instead of looking for, and focusing on what’s wrong, why not look at what’s right in our lives?  We all have so many good things in our lives, we just have to train ourselves to look for them, to recognize them, and not the flaws.

If you’re going to make any resolutions or goals this year, please make this one of them.  Don’t look for the flaws in my life, look for the potential.
