If one thinks that one is happy, that is enough to be happy. – Madame de la Fayette
This quote makes me think of one of my favorite phrases ‘Fake it to make it.’ If you’re not happy, act happy, think happy, and soon enough you should be happy. I truly believe his and I frequently say it. So much so, in fact, that my daughter parroted it back to me just yesterday when she was telling me about a friend who is in an unhappy place right now.
This isn’t saying to ignore your problems, or whatever is making you unhappy. That makes no sense. But really, look for a solution, but while you are, think happy, act happy and try your darndest to BE happy.
I may be wrong, but I may be right. What do you have to lose by trying it?
