Is it Possible

Share on:

It always seems impossible until it’s done. – Nelson Mandela

So I’m totally showing my age here, but growing up, the phone in our house was in the living room, and it was the type you dialed.  This was in the 70’s and early 80’s.  Now, I’m sitting at my computer and on the table next to me is this itty bitty rectangular thing.  It fits in my pocket, and I’m pretty much never without it.  It’s a phone.  No dialer, no cords (unless I’m charging it) and no wires.  Growing up, the concept of a cell phone was science fiction, now it’s something we can’t live with out.  And remember the Jetson’s cartoon (again I’m totally dating myself)?  They had video screens that they used to communicate – something we all thought was pure science fiction.  Hello Skype and Face Time, welcome to reality.

My point is – these things were all deemed as impossible and yet here they are, a part of our every day lives.  What gives anybody the right to say something is impossible.  Keep trying, and never give up.  Who knows, maybe today’s impossible will become your POSSIBLE!
