Being Perfect vs. Being Good

Share on:

And now that you don’t have to be perfect, you can be good. – John Steinbeck

I absolutely love this quote.  Too many people in this world are hung up on being perfect.  They have to have the right car, wear the right clothes and be seen in the right places.  goodGuess what, nobody and I mean NOBODY is perfect.  Instead of trying to achieve perfection, why not try to be the best that you can be.  You want to do the best job you can do and be the best person you can be.  Those are attainable goals for sure, perfection is not.  So don’t worry so much about being perfect instead focus on being the best you that you can possibly be.
