Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. – Mark Twain
True story. I don’t think anybody has looked back and said, “Oh gee, I’m so disappointed that I went to college and graduated.” Or “What a shame I fell in love all those years ago.” Even if the things we’ve done haven’t been as
successful as we’ve wanted, or had the outcome we’ve desired, the chances are, we’re going to be glad we’ve done them.
It’s the things we haven’t done that cause us the most regret, but even that’s kind of pointless. There isn’t any need to feel regret over something you haven’t done. Why not just go and do it! Okay maybe at age 75 you’re not going to go bungee jumping (maybe you are, who am I do judge). My point is, take an inventory and if there is something you’ve never doen that you want to do – go do it. What’s stopping you? Don’t be your own worst enemey. You’ve got this. Moral of the story – if you want to do something – go for it. If you haven’t done it and you’re looking back with regret – go do it!
