It’s so easy to get caught up in the outer trapping of people. What they look like, who they are, who they know, how much money they have. The list is endless. Those things are superficial. What really matters is who we are on the on the inside. It’s how we act and what we do that matters, not what we wear or where we live. My students and I were discussing what success looks like and I explained to them that most people would not consider me to be a successful person because I’m a teacher, and therefore, do not make a lot of money. However, I get to work with amazing kids and influence them and help them to be the best people they can be. To me, I am successful….I’m looking inward and I see myself as a success. It’s not about the money I make…..it’s who I am!
