Never Give Up

Share on:

Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time. — Thomas A. Edison

I’m sure you’ve seen the cartoon of the two men digging.  One gives up just inches away from a mother lode of diamonds while the other battles on, full steam ahead.  Life is tricky that way, and for the most part, it doesn’t pay to give up because diamondsyou just might be close to the finish line.   But sometimes, you do need to stop, and reevaluate what you’re doing and how you’re doing it.  If you’re trying to change another person, you can keep trying and trying, but it’s never going to work because in the long run, the only person who can change that person is himself.  If you’re attempting to stand inside and flap your arms in the attemp to fly, chances are, it’s NOT going to happen.  But if you’re flapping your arms in a attempt to burn calories and lose weight, it WILL happen, so don’t give up.  Remember, those diamonds may be within reach, if you don’t give up.
