Make sure your own worst enemy is not living between your ears. – Laird Hamilton
I often have days where I can’t seem to get out of my own way. Well to be honest, every morning is like that. But that’s not as big a problem as when I get in my own head and can’t get out. I’m sure I’m not alone in this. How many
of us spend our lives filling ourselves up with negative self talk. “I can’t do this,” or “I’m so stupid,” or “I am too fat.” The list can go on and on. I’m pretty sure you know what I’m talking about. Seriously, I wouldn’t talk to my worst enemy the way I talk to myself sometimes. Every one of us is an amazing individual, and we all have something that’s great about us. Take some time, do some self-reflection and start to celebrate the awesomeness that is you rather than tearing yourself down. Don’t waste time being your own worst enemy, instead, start being your own best friend.
