No Regrets

Share on:

Don’t let the regrets of yesterday destroy the hopes of tomorrow. – Joel Osteen

How many of us can look back on our lives and say we have no regrets?  I’m guessing that number is pretty low – close to zero actually.  I dislike generalizations, but I feel pretty confident in saying that most all of us have things we regret.  That’s human nature.  Regrets stink, but they’re a fact of regretslife.  We do something, we mess up, we feel badly about it.  Sometimes though, we get so caught up in our regrets that they immobilize us – we can’t move past them.  That’s not a great thing.  We can’t get so caught up in the past and in our regrets that we can’t move forward and look to tomorrow.  No matter what has happened in your past, chances are somebody else has made a similar mistake and survived, and you can and will to.  So don’t dwell on yesterday, pack away the regrets and look forward to what is coming tomorrow.
