Find the Beauty

Share on:

I don’t think of all the misery but of the beauty that still remains. – Anne Frank

This quote is resonating with me today, especially with all the hateful rhetoric I’ve read on facebook that’s political, sexual or religious in nature.  I’m kind of left to believe that people just aren’t nice.  But then I see a quote like this and I have hope.  If someone like Anne Frank could look past all the blech in her world to find beauty then perhaps there is hope.  We all need to remember when we’re being slapped in the face with all the ugliness in this world to look past it and find the beauty.  It’s there, and it’s important that we not lose sight of it.
