Write Your Own Story

Share on:

Growing up, especially for little girls, we’re taught to wish for our happily ever after.  The only problem with that is we focus so much on the happily ever after, we miss the whole story.  Forget about the happy ending…live in the now of your story.  Really experience it.  When you think about it, you are the author of the greatest story ever – yours.  I know it sounds so trite – you are the author of your own story, but really, you are!  Sure your parents may be pushing you to do this or that.  Maybe your job isn’t exactly what you want, and yeah, maybe life is getting you down.  So what, this is still YOUR story.  If you don’t like the way it’s going, write a new chapter, but most of all, find JOY in that chapter.  The more joy you find in your story, the better your story will get.  Enjoy it now, don’t wait for th ehappy ending!
