It’s All About the Work

Share on:

Genius begins great works; labor alone finishes them. ?Joseph Joubert

So today’s quote is pretty basic, or at least to me it’s common sense.  If you want something you have to put the time in.  The world doesn’t just hand you something.  And no matter how amazing your idea may be, if you’re not willing to put some effort into making it happen, then guess what, it’s not going to happen.  And honestly, there is nothing more satisfying than seeing something you’ve put effort and time into come to fruition.  So keep having the great ideas, and the grand plans, but be ready to work to make them happen!  If it’s a book you want to write (hello self, I’m talking to you) or maybe a career change, or an invention, or even a new diet or exercise plan, do it.  Just start.  You may not be perfect the first time out, you may stumble, heck you may even fall, but that’s okay too.  Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and get back to work.  Reach those goals and bring those ideas to life.
