Don’t Ever Give Up

Share on:

Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no help at all. – Dale Carnegie

First let’s talk about what I mean by don’t ever give up.  Sometimes you’ll be trying to figure something out, or accomplish something and realize that what you’re doing doesn’t work.  Take for example a relationship.  Suppose you were in a relationship that ended, not by you.  You may still love the don't ever give upperson, but realize that you’re not getting back together.  That’s not giving up.  That’s moving on and opening yourself up for a new relationship. Taking a step back, changing your perspective, regrouping – whatever you want to call it.  That’s not giving up.

That is something really important to keep in the back of your mind.  Now let’s talk about perseverance.  It’s an awesome word and it means to keep doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success.  Again, don’t ever give up.  Keep pushing, keep trying, keep looking for a different plan of attack.  You will find your success.  It may not be the original goal you envisioned, this is true.  That’s the great thing about goals, they’re flexible and they are fluid and you can keep changing them.

Remember too, that you have the most important person in your court.  You have you.  It may not feel like you have others on your team, but as long as you have faith in you, you’ll accomplish great things.  Reach down deep into those inner reserves of strength and determination.  You will reach your goal. Again, maybe not in the way you originally envisioned, and that’s okay.  Keep pushing, have faith in you, and don’t ever give up, and you’ll be good.
