Changes Are Coming: Exciting New Chapters at TracieJoy.com

Changes are coming, and I couldn’t be more excited. TracieJoy.com is growing into a true home for readers, writers, and teachers alike. Between adding a new store, expanding teacher resources, reviving my Positive Thoughts, and launching a teacher podcast, this season feels like a creative rebirth.

A Store for Words and Wonders

The newest adventure is the launch of my online store, Words & Wonders: Books & Resources by Tracie Joy. It brings all changes are comingmy work together—motivational books, classroom tools, and creative resources—under one cozy digital roof. You can read more about how it all began in Opening Words & Wonders.

Inside, you’ll find resources designed by a teacher who’s been there; ready-to-use projects, rubrics, assessments, and ELL-friendly materials created to save you prep time and keep your students engaged.

The Return of Positive Thoughts

One of the biggest and most heartfelt changes is the return of my Positive Thought posts from my original site, Think Positive 30. Those daily affirmations have been part of my voice for years, and it feels amazing to bring them home to TracieJoy.com where they belong. Every one of those posts carries a simple message: stay hopeful, stay grounded, and believe that every day offers something good.

As I import and update each post, I’m adding fresh insights, SEO polish, and beautiful new images to give them the care they deserve. If you’ve been following since the early days, you’ll see many familiar titles—each one a reminder that growth starts with mindset.

Built With Teachers and Writers in Mind

Teaching and writing might seem like two different worlds, but for me, they’ve always been two sides of the same creative coin. Both start with curiosity, grow through reflection, and aim to inspire others. That’s why TracieJoy.com is changes are comingnow expanding to support both teachers and writers, the educators shaping minds and the creators shaping stories.

TracieJoy.com is also expanding for educators who want both inspiration and classroom support. New resources are being added weekly, including the Annotated Bibliography Pack, the Time Traveler project for U.S. or World History, and the World History Timeline Project bundle. These materials were designed in real classrooms, tested with real students, and refined to actually make your teaching life easier.

For writers and creative thinkers, I’m curating posts, prompts, and tools that help you nurture your voice, overcome self-doubt, and stay motivated when the blank page feels extra blank. You’ll still find my signature Positive Thought posts, plus new behind-the-scenes pieces on how I balance classroom chaos with creative focus.

So whether you’re writing lesson plans or world-building your next novel, I want this space to be your digital coffee shop, a cozy place where encouragement meets productivity and inspiration never clocks out.

New Podcast: Tracie Spills the Teacher Tea

Of all the changes that are coming, this is the one I am most excited about. Because teachers have the best stories, I’m changes are comingalso launching a podcast: Tracie Spills the Teacher Tea. It’s a space where educators can share their classroom tales, funny, heartwarming, or chaotic, and let’s not forget the crazy and absolutely insane, in complete anonymity. Submit your own stories to spillstheteachertea@gmail.com and join the laughter, venting and solidarity of teachers everywhere.

Why These Changes Matter

These updates come from a simple truth: creativity grows when you give it room. For years, I kept my writing, teaching, changes are comingand positivity projects separate. Now, I’m weaving them together into one connected space. These changes are coming because growth isn’t about starting over—it’s about evolving with purpose.

Curious about how I built my store?

It’s not perfect yet, and it still needs some work but trust me when I say “If I can do it, anybody can.” But if you’re dreaming of building your own online shop, this guide was a lifesaver:

Looking Ahead

TracieJoy.com is transforming, and I’m so grateful you’re here for the journey. Whether you’ve been following since the Think Positive 30 days or you just stumbled in today, you’re part of this new story. These changes are coming fast, and the best part? We’re only getting started. I know these are a lot of changes, and some of you may be wondering about the book I’ve been working on since the dawn of time, Consanguinity. I’m still working and dare I say some changes are coming for that as well. The first draft is done, and now I am tearing it apart, adding things in and taking things out. Those changes are the hardest ones of all, but. They are necessary.

So yes, changes are coming, changes have come, and changes will be happening for ever because change is inevitable, so we might as well make the changes work for us.
