Laugh More, Cry Less

Share on:

Expand your thinking, diminish your problems. Increase your love, decrease your fear. Laugh more, and you’ll cry less. -Marianne Williamson

This is one of those things that makes so much sense, and is so simple, but we tend to overlook it. When you have something negative going on, be it a mood, or a habit, what you want to do is replace it with a positive. Those of us who do the whole dieting thing realize this. Instead of indulging in your ginormous craving for chocolate, go for a walk. The same applies to negative thinking and moods. Instead of crying, laugh, replace negative thoughts with positive ones. You’ll be happier in the long run.
