Time is a Gift

Share on:

Time itself is an individual gift. It is wise to cherish it carefully and give it away generously. Maya Angelou

I’ve never really thought about time as a gift. A curse maybe, especially as my birthday gets closer, but never a gift. Time was always something I didn’t have enough of. There is always so much to get done and there never seems to be enough time to get it done. And when I look at my kids, I know time is pulling some strange trick and speeding up exponentially because they were only babies yesterday. I’ve always been greedy about time, but I shouldn’t be. Time is precious, yes, and it shouldn’t be squandered, but something to use wisely and share with others.
