Increase Your Happiness

The habit of being uniformly considerate toward others will bring increased happiness to you! – Greenville Kleiser

We’ve all seen the bumper sticker and heard the phrase about promoting random acts of kindness.  Without a doubt, it’s a cool thing to do.  Have you ever thought about how you feel when you do something nice for somebody?  I mean the kind of nice that you don’t expect to have returned.  I know it makes me feel really good inside.  I like doing nice things for people.  I will go out of my way for just about anybody to lend them a hand.  It’s not hard, it doesn’t cost you anything, and it gives you this incredible feeling of warmth inside.  And the cool thing is that these random acts of kindness don’t have to cost you anything.  Picking up a toy that a toddler dropped for a busy mom, letting someone with a few items go ahead of you in the grocery store.  These are little things, but they can really help somebody out and give you an incredible feeling of joy.  So start practicing the random acts of kindness and watch your own happiness factor go up!
