It’s All in the Follow Through

What we think or what we know or what we believe is, in the end, of little consequence. The only consequence is what we do- John Ruskin

You’ve all heard the expression about the road to hell being paved with good intentions I’m sure.  When you think about it, it’s really true.  You can have all these grandiose ideas and plans, and that’s great, but if you don’t follow through they mean nothing.

That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have grand thoughts and ideas and develop huge plans – you just have to follow through.  Maybe that means starting out small.  I know for me it does.  I need to focus on changing me and my little part of the world before I try and change the world.  But I think that if I do manage to change me, it will, in some small way, change the world as well.
