Could it be an Epidemic?

Attitudes are contagious. Is yours

worth catching? – Anonymous

I have to be honest, I am in a mood today, and it’s not a good one.  Mood and attitudes are contagious, and I’m doing everything in my power to make sure people don’t catch my not so good one.  What I am finding today, is that I seem to be surrounded by not so good moods.  I can only surmise that this is a direct offshoot of my own not so good mood.  It also gives credence to the the belief that you get back what you put out there.  I am definitely putting out the cranky vibes right now, and boy oh boy is that what I am getting back what I am putting out.

What I am not doing, however, is viewing this as a setback, or a failure.  It’s just a part of life, and life is cyclical.  We have our ups and downs, our good and our bad.  It’s how we react to them that is our best and truest measure of who we are.  Me, I’m choosing to role with the punches.  I’m not feeling good, and I am in a mood, but not only is tomorrow another day and a new chance to start over, right now is an opportunity to start again.  Am I going to take it?  Honestly, I’m not sure, but I kind of like knowing that I can, and I can bet that by the end of the day, I will have found some way to pull myself out of this glump I’m in – and if I can do it, so can you!
