For myself, I am an optimist. It does not seem to be much use being anything else.” (Sir Winston Churchill)
Winston Churchill was a wise man indeed. There are those of us who could say that always being optimistic is so hard and such a challenge, that there are so many factors working against us, that it makes it virtually impossible to be optimistic. I say they are wrong. Thing about what Winston Churchill had to deal with. He had a speech impediment, he was a POW, and he lead a nation to victory during world war II. Granted, he was born into a live of privilege, but he didn’t let that define who he was, nor did he let the challenges he faced define who he was. He remained unswervingly optimistic throughout his life. If he can do it, I don’t see any reason why you or I can’t do it as well.
