Yes, Yes You Can!

If you look to do something, it is always possible… so always remember, have faith in yourself. Zia Khatib

This can’t be said enough.  If you can come up with an idea, you can DO it.  I had a discussion with my students not too long ago about this same topic.  We discussed various ideas and I told them anything was possible, it just may not be possible in the way you originally conceived the idea.  I gave flying as an example.  I may believe with all my heart that I can fly.  I may want to fly with every fiber of my being.  I am never going to be able to fly by standing around and flapping my arms.  It’s not going to happen.  I can, however, purchase a plane ticket, or learn how to hang glide or sky dive.  All of those things will get me up in the air and flying.  I can fly.  I can, just not in the way I thought I could when I was say 3.

We are so lucky, we can do anything – we just have to believe we can and not close our minds to the limitless possibilities that are available to us.
