Grab the Brass Ring

Share on:

We come this way but once. We can either tiptoe through life and hope we get to death without being badly bruised or we can live a full, complete life achieving our goals and realizing our wildest dreams.- Bob Proctor

I think our natural instinct tells us to play it safe.  Don’t put ourselves out there, and don’t take risks. It is our natural inclination to make things as easy for us as possible and to protect ourselves.  It’s probably safer that way, but is it better?  Not necessarily.  Sometimes, we need to take risks, to reach out and grab that brass ring, so to speak.  We can live our lives from beginning to end, always playing it safe or we can try new things and take some risks.  I’m not saying one way is better than the other, but to my way of thinking, you live and you die.  You have no control over those two things. Why not take some control over whats in the middle and make your life as exciting as possible?
