Changing and Growing

If we don’t change, we don’t grow. If we don’t grow, we aren’t really living. – Gail Sheehy

Change is scary -at least to me it is.  I am a creature of habit.  I don’t like to try new things, and I hate it when things change.  That being said, I realize that it is necessary for things to change.  Change doesn’t have to be huge to be effective.  For people who are set in their ways, a change can involve something as small as taking a different route to work.  For someone who thrives on changes, it could be as big as moving across the country.

Embrace change, no matter how big or small that change is.  Change means your alive and things are happening!  I know that some changes may not seem great on the surface.  Losing your job is a change, and it’s pretty hard to view that as a positive.  It’s up to each and every one of us to find the good in the changes and embrace them.  Celebrate them in fact.  Sure you may be scared of change, but when you face it head on, it’s less scary.

Open yourself to change.  Accept it and welcome it into your life.  Live and Grow!
