Patience

Share on:

A man who is a master of patience is master of everything else. – George Savile

How true this is – and how hard.  Patience is probably one of the most difficult of things to master.  We are a society that demands immediacy.  We don’t mail letters, we email.  We carry phones with us so that we can contact someone at any given time and from just about any given place.  Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE my cellphone and the ability to text someone and get a response in a matter of seconds, but there is a lot to be said for developing the ability to just wait, and to savor an experience.

Take some time to sit back and relax, and just wait for things to happen.  Enjoy the anticipation, and then enjoy the experience.
